Awakening should have fixed everything and cured everything and yet it didn't.   Why is that.  Omniscience happened did it not?

Enlightenment is not fixing anything.

So, yes, you are correct .inevitably everything is fixed, because everything dissolves. 😂

@Joseph Maynor in other words awakening to Truth should have fixed everything.  Everything.   It is omniscience.   So why did it not.

A glimpse into truth doesn't fix an unstable ego. It can start the process of fixing it. But it doesn't automatically fix itself. A radical experience can leave a lasting imprint and cause what seems like serenity on the surface, and it can also cause a radical neurotic and obsessive bungee smack.

Bipolar mania has many of the signs of neurosis and obsession, that you get hyper-fixated on certain things and it seems extremely profound, but there is also a restlessness and resistance. A manic person who is not resisting is just in bliss, their mind is silent, where does the energy go? To create bliss.

That's especially how kundalini awakening can either cause immense bliss or immense contraction and not coincidentally mania. You're just upping the energy levels. How you deal with it, how reactive your ego is or self-fueled it is, that's what dictates whether it's chaotic and difficult or calm and pleasant.

A subtle nuance is that your mind could probably still be "psychotic" while being in a non-dual state, but that would have to be in the realm of thought content ("thought disorder") rather than immense contraction and the associated restlessness, neurosis, perhaps more in the direction of schizophrenia than bipolar mania (although both see worsening of symptoms under elevated stress and energy levels). Like you could imagine someone who has immense calm but their mind is simply computing things quite differently than other people.

Conor wasn’t crazy in the sense that he wasn’t able to function and lacked the ability to completely differentiate things. He wasn’t completely out of his mind like an homeless person who has lost all faculties for regulation and he didn’t lack self awareness like some other forms of crazy do. This is why it’s a bit deceptive to be half crazy. He’s the sorta half crazy type and there is a fine line between that and being seen as a genius or eccentric creative type. Kanye west is another example of this who would be rewarded for his rants and shenanigans so it became a new familiar for him to let loose and only recently it seems he has started being more responsible because he lost access to his kids letting his manic episodes take over. There are different dimensions and expressions to crazy. You can be a little crazy and honestly if you’re creating stuff it’s not a bad thing. A lot of artists need to be a bit crazy to let loose and dream and have fun making art. The issue is some people aren’t able to function in a normal way going between these states and they become irresponsible. It’s not much different than people who get drunk on alcohol and do something crazy. I think in Conor’s case it was drug induced when he did most of his stunts. He was labeled bi polar vs drug induced psychosis which means the doctors in his original hospitalization didn’t have enough information to conclude what it was. The doctors aren’t following him around watching his every move and they probably aren’t watching his YouTube videos. We do have this information though and we know he was making those DMT smoothies daily during COVID and it was the height of his antics and the interventions he had. He said he was taking them every day. He says it’s all an act because from his perspective he sees it as something he has under control, his choice to dose, feed into compulsions and emotions, he’s aware he has a choice in that matter. He feels good while tripping and he wants to be a bit of a trickster because this type of person likes playing and it serves his content and videos to be a trickster. So from his point of view he isn’t crazy because to him he’s just letting loose and nothing bad had happened until now. He wasn’t able to see that his shenanigans and going to the hospital were going to eventually lead to his physical body being harmed. He didn’t have to worry about losing a job because letting loose only lead to more views and YouTube money. So I think it will come to light soon that he started playing with psychedelics again. He got cocky with drugs and died high out of his mind which is why you don’t take these things and go outside. You know your limits and you set yourself up so you are lying safely on a bed or somewhere safe away from water or high drop out of a building.

@AION Bruh stop. If there was something that created Connor, it was Ayahuasca and his bipolar tendencies.

@AION Here is a thread where someone died, so not a fun section. Besides that leo never promoted ayahuaska, he didnt took it once to that time.

I'm just preemptively clenching my anus for when somebody points at me in the same fashion to explain comments like your's and threads like Zeroguy's, "this is your creation", since I started talking about cults and all. And Leo did not find it funny at all let's say that.

@Carl-Richard obviously there is some grain of truth in my joke too which is the hallmark of jokes. Why else would Leo accept to talk with Conner if he didn’t feel responsibility. Before his psychedelic use he was a normal guy. Even if we leave that whole Conner thing out of consideration. Leo’s own use of psychedelics was unethical and unhealthy and caused him health issues. If you can’t even acknowledge that it only shows that this forum has some (death) cult behavior.

"It's all an act"

It's easy to see this is a legitimate plausible deniability tactic. Being a high profile social media content creator it's going to serve multiple functions to Conners benefit. It's a way to preemptively manage social media backlash, and emphasises behaviour (the act) to distance himself from responsibility.

I think this tactic was used as well actual mental health behaviour issues manifesting in real time. "It's all an act" is an manipulation tactic and way to manage his reputation to preserve relationships. It also quells those who may genuinely be concerned - preventing someone from intervening and attempting to genuinely help this poor man.

Overall I think he was mentally ill behind the thin vaneer of performance.

@AION I dunno man, imagine if one of us fed your image into a generator and made all manner of crude images. It's in poor taste.

Arguing a case & presenting evidence - fair game.

Generating images in someone's likeness to make fun of them is sorta cruel imo

So then unstable egos should never be taking drugs.  I don't mean a glimpse i mean full enlightenment. Do you expect that to happen via psychedelics.  No. I was 48.

If you agree that there are states of consciousness.  That reality is simply made of states of consciousness. And you are in a particular state now..then just changing your state does nothing because when you are back to the state that you were unhappy in you just want to chase states  what you are putting forth is basically saying look there is no one having these states so thus it is pointless to attach to a state.   But that's what the ego does. Yet you are saying this from a particular state of consciousness.  So you cannot- you cannot avoid your current state of consciousness.  Because there is nothing but consciousness.

Connor explains here, that he took 6 month ago ayahuasca and since then he is permanent tripping. What he meant by that is, that he sees reality in a different context, he the truth all the time, its all his mind like in a lucid dream. To proof that he is permanent tripping, he takes a huge amount of ayahuasca and it has zero effects on him.

So it seems connor was permanently awakened.

States, consciousness, future, past, you, me all is so called mind. Belongs to mind and body. Temporary.

I am always what I am, and there is no experience, words feelings in there.

Then what happened.  He wasn't abiding in shit because all his life ended up as in a giant state chase.

That is very empty to me. I guess thats the whole problem i have with neo-advaita. Its just so empty.  Take Newman.n there is no one going through the motions of having "his" breakfast in the morning. There is just breakfast.   Well yeah that's what actually is happening.  Nothing.  But let me ask you this. Why would God have gone though all the trouble to create this illusion.

@James123 ultimately what are you doing here.   What are you doing? You are understanding things.  Your statement of there being no self for example, it requires understanding.  You can say that is nothing but that is a very beautiful thing.  Without understanding you cannot have existence.

Seems pretty fucking switched on in this interview if you ask me.
Then it’s a question if he was speaking from a direct realisation or conceptual understanding.

Some things he says there suggest he might have the conceptual understanding but not direct and that he hadn’t realized Truth and that even his “low conscious girlfriend” is Truth. But a lot can be lost in translation when communicating to others so it’s hard to say his level of understanding.

I’ll say another thing. Just because his way of operating may have been threatening to survival, says nothing about his level of understanding. Maybe he simply did not care. And just because your opinion is different it doesn’t mean its superior on the Absolute.

Obviously whatever happened did happen and is what is(Truth).

That doesn’t mean you should do the same thing. Just realize that survival’s high horse is only survival’s high horse, not the Absolute.

Judging insanity from below is epistemically naive. If your own consciousness is limited to what you would call sanity, there is no way you can understand insanity, and therefore shouldn’t speak of it arrogantlt.
