And isn't the whole point of TikToks to be fun, free and accessible? I'd rather buy a yearly subscription to HBO for that money.

Beyond that, this whole strategy seems a bit backwards. Why not post the shorts for free to bring in new viewers and then create a premium vault for all your future long form content?

1) It's bonus content for fans.

2) Because the main channel is not intended for short content. Yes, it's a bit backwards but ultimately in your favor. My channel was designed long before short content existed. If I was doing it all again from scratch today then it would be structured otherwise, but I can't change all the work I did.
