Neuro receptors and „pure consciousness“

I was rewatching Leo‘s „How psychedelics work“ episode together with the chart he made years ago on which psychedelics fire up which neuro receptors. 

I became curious which receptors or combination thereof would likely produce the most impact on the „pure consciousness“ dial Leo imagines in the video.

It looks like it would be 5ht1a, possibly in combination with others, based on the activation with LSD, DPT and 5-MeO (possibly combinations?).

 

This is not more than speculation at this point, haven’t done any of my own research, but was interested to hear if some of you had asked yourself the same questions and where it led.

Ive not personally, as i would be curious of what the effects are with psychedelics, and how they are working in the world at large (how the mind experiences reality, and not, how the mind works in a literal sense), which requires insights into what actually goes into a trip 'an experience that has alot of moving pictures and pieces, a rush of things that,

when analyzed loses track of the meaning, the content and such, the emotional cues so to speak ~an emotional relationship or state w/ the world~ a city and state of new thoughts, feelings, emotions and ideas that are passing you in the moment, colors and textures and things that can be richly enjoyed, otherwise missed if to dilute the whole process into a scientific study.

With that said, i cannot speak to 5ht1a or anything that would be assoc. w/... As there are quite alot of receptors (alot of which are working together harmoniously somehow). An analogy might be to compare it to Ai ~

Today alot of people think theres someways they can steer Ai, but thats not really how Ai works. You cannot really steer things that are infinitesimal by nature, w/ decimal points through the roof. It cant be understood, and it cant be shaped into anything from the standpoint of someone w/ the intention of bringing it into some form of alignment w/ an idea they have~from the naivety to prove something or make it better. As it is~what it is~ You can ask it questions and get answers. You can get goofy ass images (or frames of moving images, same thing). The same applies to the brain, however reality/experience is itself apart of that recipe too.

So im not pushing you away from science but i just want you to see that the first step, in the very least, is to notice how the recipe is larger than the ingredient, and, in that ingredient, it is already so incredibly infinitesimal that its sortve counter to what anyone might want to research anyway. Ideally we all would want peace and harmony on earth as a destination, atleast to some degree, where we all feel weve done something that may play into a peaceful resolution, or the least-worst solutions. Many things in your life are gonna be least-worst decisions & solutions. So its something you have to get to thinking about early on... Just something to think about.

Yes, and it lead me to that the brain is more complicated than that. There are 5ht1a receptors in your spleen. Their effect depends a lot on where they are expressed. They just happen to be densely expressed in key cortical regions and the Default Mode Network and largely reduce firing in there. And other compounds can induce proclaimed glimpses into pure consciousness (cannabis/THC, salvia) which act on different receptor systems.

This is not understanding God. Its not a receptor, its a realization the receptors have.

The receptors cant show you God, maybe a combination of the receptors can make you understand it easier but it requires some sort of thought process to obtain.

Something thats not any of the receptors or anything that has to do with your brain sees itself via logic.

You need logic to see God. Not hyper logic but you see some sort of ego system to understand what is happening.

You need a before and after to see the now.

You can see it without drugs.

 

If you saw God right now you would think you died. And if you came back you would think you somehow got revived. You wouldnt know that you saw God.

Nothing to do with a sensor. Its a logical conclusion of an event with a void state. After thinking about it in the dream. Its the dream realizing itself. Cause when the dream turns off you are still there. You can only do this after leaving the dream with the the ego and returning to the dream with the ego.

You can take the drug and not understand God.

When you understand God something happens to your receptors. Every molecule in your body starts dancing.

 

This could just be a receptor that is assigned to the fear of death.

Everything is pure consciousness. Changing brain chemistry just makes it more obvious. Misinterpreted as "becoming more conscious", but I digress.

Lower DMN activity is a correlate because there's a lowered ability for self-referencing, kind of like being drunk.
