What's your experience with tattoed women?

25 posts in this topic

I'm curious to hear your view and opinions on this topic.

I personally think that tattoos is not just an neutral aesthetic thing, it can give hints of the psyche underneath.

For example, a women with her arms full of them might be emotially unstable, she might even be neurotic, crazy or low consciousness. Or she might have traumas, be more overall promiscous and such things. Can be too identified with the body and be a very vain person too.

Of course, I am not saying every women with a tatoo is neurotic or something. There's good possiblity of using tattoos as a genuine expression of your deepest values and one can be expressing them from a healthy and high consciousness place.

There's a overall pattern in your experience while dating tattoed women?

I want to hear your thoughts on this, the good, the bad and such, share it!

In general, the ones I came into contact with were very bodily oriented(usually promiscous or with a promiscous past), with a bad past and traumas.

What about you?

I feel like it is so common these days that it is impossible to make any generalisations.

We talking full on tattoos that cover large portions of the body - or things like childrens initials on a wrist?

This is more often than so the case for most women i have run into. While some are artists and become works of art with beautifully placed patterns and ingenious designs which is can be very sexy. I personally find them attractive on some women but repulsive on most, and i feel its attractive because its coming from a place of artistic healing and represents an alignment of ones character and expression, and not as appealing when its coming from a place of neurosis, trauma and other forms of distortions where the tattoo is a side-effect of that.

This is the same for men. Most are due to neurosis / trauma and what not, but some are truly artistic and can act as healing patterns and frequencies, both to the individual and onlooker. Although i would argue any ink in your body is always going to be slightly toxic and not as free flowing (energetically) as a natural / ink free body, but everyone has their own path and story so for them it may be beneficial in some way.

I personally enjoy a few tattoo's on others, especially women, placed well and beautiful designs. I have a thing for thighs, rib cage, and designs around curves on women, but too much and its starts to get ugly and non-appealing. With such things i feel less is more.

I've always enjoyed the idea of tattoos on myself but never got one because i am always changing and feel if i get something i may outgrow it and so i enjoy temporary tattoos, Hana, or artworks / face/body paintings during festivals and other artful ways to play with the moment rather than something permanent i cannot change in the future without further damaging my skin (ie laser removal and what not.

Maybe in the future if there was a way to get changing / programmable designs that can change at will, i may consider it.

I personally have zero tattoos. Zero desire there.

Larger tattoos that aren't one large artistic piece, or many small tattoos, can indicate impulsiveness. Impulsiveness is usually a sign of someone with low discipline and control. Lack of patience. Lower conscientiousness. There could be a correlation.

Smaller initials in covert places many normal woman have.

Tattoos are not a deal breaker, but I don't like them if it becomes excessive.

There's a lot of conformity in tattoo culture.

Curious about this conformity, would you expand on that?
Also what do you consider excessive? I never liked the big tattooes covering big parts of body. I enjoy the cute small ones girls sometimes get.

I live in an area where tattoos are extremely common. It's rare to meet a woman who doesn't have one.

It's obvious that most people are not doing it out of autonomous thinking, but just because it's the style and culture.

If these same people grew up or lived somewhere else, they would not have these tattoos.

Tattoos are usually supposed to be examples of original thinking. But then everyone gets them, and it just becomes the same conformity. Conformity masquerading as non-conformity. Tattoo corruption.

It's hard to draw a line exactly what I consider excessive. Serious neck or face tattoos are definitely out for me. Probably also full sleeves.

Not all tattoos are treated equal. If she has a snake tat, that is all you need to know. 😍 I´m into Jung so I really love people who have their symbols on their sleeve although I would never take a tat. I don´t want to reveal my game plan.

Gamer tattoos or Harry Potter are a green flag.

Butthole tattoos... suspicious.

More like the ones that cover large portion, like a full-arm or something.

They are not ugly things, its art. I am more interested in the psychology of the person behind it.
