In addition, being good looking can also be a block to anyone seeing you beyond the outer appearance.

Makes sense, as everything else you said.

In this specific point tho, I find the opposite to be more true for me, personally:

I don’t really prefer to approach (at least with serious intent) unless the girl is quite attractive, get excited when I find out / seduce her to mutual attraction, then get immensely disappointed when I realize she doesn’t have much beyond her beautiful shell.

This happens again and again in clubs. When summer comes, I will approach more during day and hope to find more intelligent women.

Gosh, I can’t find myself bothered with beautiful girls who are empty-headed. That is just hella boring to me and feels like a total waste of time. On top of that, I would feel like I’m just using her as a sex object.

I almost view it in a way where the shallower a girl is, the more child-like she is and that in a weird way makes me feel like a pedofile. Like I’m taking advantage of a drunk person who cannot even make a conscious, intelligent decision.

Intelligent and mature women are hella attractive. But usually these women are more in their 30s+, and has had their looks fade rapidly, which is also a big problem for me.

And yes, let’s not throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Owen has a bunch of good stuff, and there is no other public speaker like him.

All you need for self-help is Sadhguru.

Seriously.

No need for stage orange grifters.

What is this?

That's the only question

Sadhguru? No thanks, I don't want to be lectured about bad dirt all night 🤣🤣🤣

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.

I think people in general aren't good at filtering good insights out of a speech of someone like Owen, and all those guys will develop same biases that he has, especially since he doesn't talk much about taking more responsibility and observing self-bias, but maybe it's not part of his job to do so.

It's sad when all your mental resources and energy goes into building a luxurious lifestyle that you could afford 250k$ jewelry and rotation of 10 girlfriends. But I think that's better than sitting in your moms basement eating cheetos and watching porn all day.

So there's value in these videos if it gets people motivated to change their lifestyle. But it would be cool to see Owen talking about not getting stuck at it, but well, he seems stuck too.

You all forget that Owen cook is autistic.

Autistic people have this crazy energy, full of emotions and drive for power. They are impulsive and get bored easily. They don't talk normal, it sounds like they are screaming. They are always chasing something.

They are hyper individualistic and if you interact with them, they will draw you into their world. Yours doesn't matter.

In a way, it is indeed easier to go absolute ham, 110% into something and build massive momentum, than to half ass yourself. But the trap then is, to get stuck in it yes. Which clearly seems to have happened to Owen.

Is this legit science? Or part of it is out of your ass? xD

If it is fully legit, then this angle brings a lot of understanding to his psychology.

@Miguel1 do you really think I researched that what I wrote? That I have some studies in the background to tell you the obvious?

Yea, as you said before, doing couple years of pickup and learning attraction skills will benefit most guys, but if you do it for 25 years and build a career out of it, jesus, imagine the mental habits you'd build along the way, especially if it earns you good money, good luck unstucking from that hole. That would be painful.

Imagine Owen stopping what he's doing, how painful would that be for him.

Still, Owen is good for motivating guys into taking action, which he deserves credit for.

I always feel more motivated to act after hearing him speak.

Damn right, he's a top public speaker. Just him repeating this "sound effects" sentence a few times just immiduately translates.

I highly doubt this. I was diagnosed with aspergers on two occasions; once in my teens and again in my early twenties. What you describe here sounds more that the sociopath interview that Leo shared. All sounds more like narcicism, not autism. Have you even seen love on the spectrum?

@Butters asperger and artists are still different.

And I would say many autists are sociopaths in their own loving way.
