That is indeed another contradiction. He says that it's not about money then goes on to talk about spending $250.000 on his ex girlfriend. So what does he get out of doing that? He says there is nothing more beautiful than spending time with his kids, so why doesn't he save that money for his kids? Or give it to poor kids.

I'm not sure if it's about any sort of skills in particuliar, but moreso it's the pro social orientation to life which I feel like makes significant difference. Which you are, to a significant degree born with + influenced by your upbringing. The more pro social you are, the more you are able to tolerate and even enjoy all the cohabitation and small talk bullshit, all these micro responsibilities etc. Also, it makes you more of a conformist which makes it even easier to tolerate that BS. At least that's my theory, not confirmed by anything whatsoever except me pulling it from my behind. But it makes sense to me because I always had a pretty anti social orientation to life, which I wouldn't necessarilly equate introvert/extrovert scale or whatever. It's a different kind of scale, like, to what degree you care and are willing to deal with other people, or idk how else to describe it, nontheless it's always been pretty low for me

These are wrong priorities.

He talks about the Bible, but the Bible says to give away all your wealth and live simply. Not chase status in exclusive nightclubs.

Owen has a twisted sense of priorities and his audience is too immature to understand that.

I don't even see pickup as the problem here. The real problem is chasing for status and luxury. That kind of lifestyle, those kinds of people are inherently corrupt.

You could do pickup in a non-status-seeking way.

Dating a girl who cares about status and luxury is cancer. You want a simple girl who isn't partying with celebrities on a yacht. Those status seeking girls are just a nightmare.
