A Disturbing Truth About Spiritual Teachings

Don't say such Buddha's bullshit here. Buddhism is bullshit dude!

We want impermanence, chasing our own tail forever and never truly being satisfied, ups and downs, peaks and valleys, ambition. We love suffering here! We are masochists and sadists, fundamentally! Out with your bullshit!

:D:D

Ironically, the "truth-seeking" expounded here is survival, dressed up as truth-seeking. Give me the "next" insight, the "next" awakening, the "next" deeper understanding.

what do you describing is sequentiality and it is not survival but existence for the autistic brain.

if you put down the sequence, you are putting yourself down, which leads to self-hatred.

So stop

I stand with my critique of Buddhism. Duality is not a bad thing at all, and it allows for the fulfillment of space and for symphony as I said.

pain and suffering are a part of the symphony. The only way to arrive at cacophony is by engaging in self-hatred.

Nothing normative was claimed in my statements. You're free to do whatever. Just know suffering means identification with that which is cyclical ("sequential"?). If you're not identified, you're not suffering (but of course, be careful turning this into denial and self-deception; you very likely are identified). That's why letting go is essentially the direct path to enlightenment. But do you want to let go? That is the question.

@Cred It's not just Buddhism this community hates on. I think Buddhism is a little stiff myself, but people here hate on any and all spiritual traditions. I'm a big fan of yoga and tantra. And western esotericism such as hermeticism and Neoplatonism

As for calling it survival (or Maya) rather than truth, does anybody remember infinite backflipping cartoon mouse awakening? Why is nobody asking about it anymore? Is it suddenly out of fashion? Or could it be that deep, all-pervading, non-personal, perennial truths are more pressing than some clearly personal hallucinations had in a psychedelic state?
