You're right in that this is futile.Ā  Ā Because there is no point in starting a war unless you are going to annihilate. Like Hitler tried to do. But also to be passive which is the signature of the democratic party allows Hitlers to form.Ā

The idea was not a war, the point was that for Bibi and his Mossad to orchestrate a regime change in Iran was 99,9% sure.

The ayatollahs would fall, people would dance in the streets waving Israeli and American flags, a new allied government would take power, and everyone would be happy and make great business.

The problem is, it went wrong. in fact, it went exactly the opposite. So, what's the plan B if everything goes wrong? Well, no one. Try to make it look like they're doing something, but without crossing any red lines that would cause Iran to destroy vital infrastructure, and then claim that an agreement has been reached and that Iran has given in.

Trump finally succeeded in doing something real.Ā  He made Iran great again.

You can watch clips of Trump consistently promising to deal with Iran since over 40 years ago. He is doing exactly what he promised, the only one with the balls to do anything in the first place,Ā and nobody cares how long it takes. Iran is done. Anybody who thinks this is going well for themĀ at all has absolutely no understanding of what's going on. The entire geopolitical landscape is being changed and Trump is setting up American dominance for the next hundred years. Liberals can continue to cope as hard as they want. Patriots are back in control.

I thought the deal with Iran was made already? Or was that last week after the previous deal turned out to be fake? Ohhhh wait, you're talking about the deal he made the week before that. Oh no? That wasn't real either? Ahh, the one he just announced this morning right beforeĀ the stock market opened, that's the one you're talking about. Do you think it will be real this time, or will that beĀ fake like the last 12 times as well?

Yes we are dealing with completely insane religious fanatics whose goal is literally to triggerĀ global end times by obtaining nuclear power. You think making a deal with these people is some sort of easy or simple task? you think we just hand presidential reign over to something_else and everything is solved tomorrow? no it's basically impossible. Do you want Trump to not update the American people as things are happening in real time? Do you not want Trump to attempt making these deals? You want to invade them with our troops instead? or do you just want him to nuke them out of existence is that your solution? obviously if we're not nuking them or invading them, attempting various peace deals is what we will be doing.

As you may recall, Ā Obama already made a deal with Iran which was torn up by the idiot Trump.Ā  So the problem isn’t Iran.Ā Ā  Now, whatever happens, Iran is going to have permanent control over the Straits of Hormuz.Ā  Under Obama, this was international waters uncontrolled by any nation.Ā  But then Obama is an order of magnitude more intelligent than Trump.Ā  TrumpĀ will probably end up spending a trillion dollars to get us back to a worse position.Ā Ā

lmao that wasn’t a deal, it was a retirement fund for the IRGC. Trump tore it up because it was a ticking time bomb with a sunset clause, giving the world’s leading state sponsor of terror a legal on-ramp to a nuke. but sure, "diplomacy". Iran’s been threatening to choke that waterway since before you were born.Ā the only thing Obama "controlled"Ā was the rate at which he shovelled cash into their navy’s pocket. permanent control? they can’t even keep their own proxies from getting vaporized.

an "order of magnitude more intelligent"? the guy who drew a red line in Syria and then went back to golfing while Assad gassed children?Ā this is your strategic mastermind? Trump’s got the entire Axis of Resistance crumbling without putting a single American boot on the ground. and as for that trillion dollars, the only one on track to spend that is whatever senile puppet you’re backing, trying to rebuild all the credibility Obama set on fire and Biden doused in jet fuel. Trump’s deal, when it’s real, won’t cost a dime.

"the problem isn't Iran." absolutely incredible. the problem isn't the regime that hangs teenagers from cranes, machine-guns its own shopkeepers in the street, and has "Death to America" as an actual state slogan. they were gunning down their own citizens in the streets by the thousands just before the war started. but no, the problem is the American president. this isĀ the level of political analysis we'reĀ dealing with folks.Ā šŸ˜‚

meanwhile what Trump has achieved: Assad is gone. Hezbollah is decapitated. Hamas is disarmed. The IRGC's air defenses are rubble. the rial is confetti. protests in all 31 provinces. their entire forty-year forward-defense architecture is scattered across four countries in pieces, and their so-called supreme leader is negotiating from a bunker. yeah Jo,Ā sounds like the problem isn't Iran. sounds like Iran doesn't have any problems at all.Ā

Do I think making a deal is an easy task? No, of course not.Ā So don’t start a totally unnecessary war in the first place.Ā

He’s been flip flopping between announcing finalĀ peace deals and total annihilation of IranĀ for 6 months, yet neither ofĀ these things ever seem to materialise. It’s all empty promises and hollow threats, that are also conveniently posted at just the right time for stock market manipulation.

My actual point, which I think you failed to address, is that Trump is erratic, and eroding the world’s trust in America as a stable country. Most of America’s allies are trying to figure out how to distance ourselves from the US because we are seeing the US as an increasingly unstable and unreliable trading (and military) partner. This will bringĀ the US to ruin in the long run. Trump does not care about this, he does not care about the US, he cares only about enriching himself, his family and his friends.

To address one of yourĀ other claims,Ā Iran doesn’t want nuclear weapons to bring about end times. They want nuclear weapons for the same reason the other countriesĀ that have them wanted them;Ā deterrent. Iran has a long history of Western interference, this war is the next iteration of that. In their mind if they have nukes the US (and Israel for that matter) will finally leave them alone.

let's slow thingsĀ down for youĀ since nuance clearly isn’t your strong suit.

Assad fell because the house of cards Iran and Russia built for him was hollowed out by years of Trump’s maximum pressure, sanctions that strangled the regime’s finances, and the elimination of Soleimani. Biden just happened to be napping in the Oval when the walls finally crumbled. the only thing "Biden’s term"Ā contributed to Assad’s collapse was looking so weak that every faction in the region decided it was now or never because the feckless placeholder wouldn’t lift a finger to stop them.

Hezbollah got "decapitated"Ā not because of Biden’s genius, but despite him. Israel had to ignore constant lectures from the White House about "restraint"Ā and "proportionality"Ā while they actually did the work, using intel and capabilities built up while Trump had their back without a single leak or public scolding. Biden’s team spent more energy trying to save Hezbollah’s PR than actually backing an ally.

and Hamas "disarmed"? you mean after the worst massacre of Jews since the Holocaust, which happened on Biden’s watch because his administration spent three years funneling humanitarian aid that ended up in terror tunnels and empowering Iran? the only reason Hamas is on its knees now is because Israel was finally allowed to finish the job after the world saw the footage, and because they knew Trump was coming back and the days of diplomatic protection for butchers were over.

so yes, those events hit the news during Biden’s term. congratulations. your guy was a potted plant watching the consequence of Trump’s policies unfold, and now Trump’s back to ensure the job gets finished without paying the mullahs a cent. but keep trying to claim credit. coping is all you’ve got left.

@thepixelmonkĀ I can’t agree more.

People underestimate how hard it is to deal with fanatics. It’s a long term process. Iran achieving nuclearĀ weaponĀ will only happen under democratic leadership. God knows what could happen if Kamala was elected.

maybe for the short term everything could look fine but it would be the calm before the storm.

It’s not ā€œnuanceā€, you analysis isn’t based on reality, it’s easily debunked propaganda

- Trump basically gave up in Syria and stopped US participation against Assad but kept up sanctions,

https://www.americanprogress.org/article/trumps-syria-shambles/

Biden maintained the sanctions, that did lead to the collapse of Assad. But sanctions were in place since Obama and Obama and early in Trumps term they were doing actual military operations against Assad.

Assad fell because of sanctions held by Trump but also Obama and Biden, and Turkeys influence.

- decapitation strikes historically do not work, which is why since the decapitation Hezbollah has still killed dozens of idf with drones andĀ a Lebanon peace deal hasn’t occurred.

Trump has actually been more restrictive on Israel for what they can do in Lebanon. Publicly criticizing them and frustrating israel as it feels the US has made them sitting ducks to drones.

https://www.pbs.org/newshour/world/trump-says-israel-and-hezbollah-have-agreed-to-dial-back-fighting-after-mediated-talks

https://www.axios.com/2026/07/14/trump-netanyahu-syria-lebanon-redeploy

- Oct 7 happened because Trump pushed for the Abraham accords that were trying to force Arab states to agree to normalization with Israel without ending the occupation of Palestine and Netanyahu funded Hamas and reduced Gazas security giving them motivation and reason to strike. There’s no evidence humanitarian aid was what allowed for Oct 7.

Trump allowed Israel to break the ceasefire he originally forced on them but the IDF themselves admitted the renewed offensive achieved nothing and the deal they accepted was the same one they rejected a year prior, meaning the 40 hostages they killed in that time and the international approval collapse that made israel the most hated country in the world according to polling were both for nothing.

https://www.timesofisrael.com/idf-report-said-to-find-israel-made-every-possible-mistake-in-recent-gaza-offensive/

https://www.jpost.com/israel-news/defense-news/article-901047

Israel also rejected the Hamas disarmamentĀ because that isn’t their goal

https://foreignpolicy.com/2026/08/06/hamas-disarmament-deal-netanyahu-israel-gaza/

- Iran is straight up a strategic disaster and the most absurd claim you’re making. The claim Iran was pursuing nukes is a lie, no evidence of this exists and US intelligence said it was false.Ā Trump said the goal was to end Irans nuclear program, end he ballistic missile program, end support for militias, and that the regime would change.

Since the war none of these have happened and Trump is already backing down from them.

This has now become a negotiation over the strait, which Iran didn’t have before the war started, and is refusing to give up, not only that but Iran has destroyed US bases in the region and shown the US can’t defend gulf states from it. Iran is now in a dramatically more powerful position with far more leverage before the war.

Iran already got paid by gulf states, and increased oil revenues because they let their ships out during the MOU. US has even started removing sanctions.

https://www.reuters.com/world/middle-east/us-removes-sanctions-three-irgc-linked-entities-treasury-website-shows-2026-08-05/

notice nothing is being talked about the nuclear program or any of the other issues which were the reasons for the warĀ

This is also a massive boon to China as the US had to reduce its presence in Asia.

It’s not ā€œnuanceā€, you analysis isn’t based on reality, it’s easily debunked propaganda.

you linked a Reuters story about Fly Baghdad. that's an Iraqi airline. treasury delisted it for changing its behavior, explicitly stated the move had nothing to do with the Iran negotiations, kept the owner sanctioned, and amended his listing to point directly at the Quds Force. also, less than a week earlier they hit a fresh network supporting Mahan Air. so your evidence that "the US has started removing sanctions" is a story about the US tightening the screws on the IRGC while cleaning one Iraqi charter carrier off a list. you read a headline, felt a feeling, and hit paste. again, this is the level of political analysis we're dealing with folks. this is your "easily debunked propaganda" detector at work.

Syria: your own argument hands it to Trump. you say sanctions collapsed Assad. The Caesar Act, which isĀ the most punishing sanctions ever put on Damascus andĀ the very thing that sealed him off from the banking system and killed reconstruction money,Ā was signed into law by Trump in 2019. and then he got them repealed in the 2026 NDAA once Assad was gone and there was a government worth doing business with. you just spent a paragraph explaining that the instrument that broke Assad was signed by the guy you think is a moron.

"Decapitation doesn't work." Hezbollah's own government is currently disarming it. the Lebanese army completed phase one south of the Litani and is four months into phase two. Nasrallah is dead, the land bridge through Syria is gone, and Qassem is on television calling his own government's disarmament plan a grave sin because he can't stop it. yes, they can still fly a drone. aĀ militia that can annoy the IDF is not the same organization as one that had 150,000 rockets and a veto over Lebanese politics. that's not a decapitation failure, that's a strategic collapse with a pulse.

now onto the big one. "The claim Iran was pursuing nukes is a lie, no evidence exists." Iran had 440 kilograms of uranium enriched to 60 percent. the IAEA,Ā not Trump orĀ Bibi,Ā found them in breach of their safeguards agreement, noted that Iran is the only non-weapons state on earth producing 60 percent HEU, and said flatly it has no civilian justification. three weeks of spinning at Fordow turns that into nine weapons' worth of weapons-grade material. then they threw the inspectors out and moved the stockpile into a tunnel complex nobody's been allowed to look inside since. if your position is that a country with zero civilian use for 60 percent enrichment, hundreds of kilos of it, and no inspectors is not pursuing a weapon, then you've defined "evidence" as a signed confession.

and as for theĀ toll,Ā you're describing a protection racket and calling it leverage. this is a regime that used to move a million and a half barrels a day and fund an empire of proxies with it. now it's under naval blockade, its exports are dead, its rial is confetti, its air defenses are rubble, and its big new revenue plan is shaking down tankers by radio for two million dollars a passage,Ā a scheme the IMO says has no basis in international law and that every Gulf state and shipping line on earth wants ended. you think being reduced to charging tolls on a waterway you can't safely open is strength? that's what a mugger does. it's not what a nuclear power does.

nobody is negotiating a toll rate with a country that is winning. try again.

- Ok, let’s see if he releases more sanctions in the future, he was already doing itĀ

https://www.yahoo.com/news/politics/articles/trump-lifts-iran-sanctions-allows-143556439.html

I’m saying it’s a signal as part of a oncoming potential deal, we will soon find out

- I’m not denying Trumps sanctions lead to Assads collapse, but I’m saying it wasn’t just Trump. Biden didn’t lift them, Obama also sanctioned them, Turkey was aiding the rebels.

- The disarmament is a joke, israel itself is saying Lebanon is failing to do this. If there was a strategic collapse and Hezbollah was just ā€œannoyingā€ you wouldn’t see Israeli officials demanding Israel depopulate the south (that comes in when you can’t defeat a organization so you have to remove the entire population)Ā and Netanyahu’s polls tanking because so much of north Israel had to be evacuated.

- The IAEA chief said himself they didn’t have evidence they were pursuing nuclear weapons.

https://truthout.org/articles/iaea-head-we-did-not-have-any-proof-of-iran-building-nuclear-weapon/
Ā

Iran didn’t violateĀ anyĀ deal, they were following the enrichment limitation under the JPCOA, it was Trump who pulled out.Ā

Also, they already offered to reduce it back down as part of a deal, 60% isn’t enough for nuclear weaponization, and the specific claim was nuclear weapons, there still isn’t evidence they are making one.

You’re saying the proof they are pursuing nuclear weapons is they enriched uranium to still below what is needed to make nuclear weapons andĀ offered to reduce it even more, with both the US intelligence and IAEA chief saying they don’t have evidence they were pursuing nuclear weapons.

- The AI you’re using is saying something completely incoherent, it’s suggesting Iran using leverage is proof it is weak. That doesn’t make sense. Why are we even having negotiations on a toll at all? Why isn’t Iran discussing ending its nuclear program, ballistic missiles, and militia support at all?

Because Irans strategic position improved, the US’s positionĀ worsened.Ā

The gulf states like the UAE are already telling trump not to go to war again, meeting with IRGC officials, and international law is irrelevant to IranĀ when the US constantly violates it by attacking them.
