Clenching Anus Related to State Raise?

17 posts in this topic

Okay so I know this is very funny because "haha ass" but I have a serious question.

Every time I switch in the moment into intense concentration on experience/nature of self, my anus clenches inside. It's been like this for a long time now. Been wondering about it often but never cared enough to ask if others relate.

So, do you relate? Does anyone have some knowledge on that? Do you think it's better to unclench it every time I notice it, or just disregard it and continue focusing uninterrupted?

The way I go about raising state works. I'm just wondering about the muscle clench thing. The anus, and also eg. the sides of my head.

I actually know what you are talking about XD, but its like, im not quite sure id call it an ass clenching, lol. But sure i guess thats sortve what it is in a way. Its more like, your immune system drops down~shifts into a new gear, but Hey, its not like any of us have the science/right terminology. I certainly dont.

Like i use to get something when i was very little/young, and my parents would like, bring me / leave me in a wooded/forest area w/ all the horses and shit~Wildlife and like, desolate forest, And in those cases my stomach would churn and i was put off from that whole idea of nature at that point. But this was like what alot of ppl felt as well, like when you are sortve THRUST against your will, or against the nature of your immune system ~not quite havin prepared ur self, then yeah ur butts prolly gona clench up at that point cause its like , "Ah, Whats going on". But as you get more like, accustomed to switching gears, your body wont feel as staggered and whatknot, going from this like "stay still" mode, to a more *hyper mode

Tense energy and relaxed energy is a thing.  We act very differently when we're operating from tense energy versus relaxed energy.  Neither one is good or bad per se, but it's something that can be observed in oneself and in others.

Speaking of, if you go outside, it went from like, being ass cold — to now where its like its a warm spring day out w all the snow meltin° (or atleast where im @Est), like thats another instance where its like this thing w/ the body/And gettin' use to it, or trying to - where your body says something like, "Ah, what is going on", to then having to acclimate to those sudden changes.

I have it in roller coasters. Whenever it goes down very fast. I dont fear anything intellectually but my anus goes crazy. Or my root chakra. Something like this.

I wonder if it would help to lean into it. Consciously clench even harder, and then release.

You can bet I’m experimenting with it. :)

I’m just curious of others’ experiences/opinions.

Hindus call it mula bandha. There are three main locks:

Mula bandha

Pelvic floor

Lift energy upward

Uddiyana bandha

Abdomen

Draw energy inward & upward

Jalandhara bandha

Throat

Contain and regulate upward flow.

When all three bandhas are applied together, it is called Maha Bandha. When I'm in deep yogic samadhi I stabilise comfortably in Maha Bandha.

A weird thing that happened to me on a psychedelic trip before getting to know about kriya yoga is that my tongue wanted so deeply to do Kechari Mudra, it felt like breaking my tongue at that time but when you hit the spot oh God it's like a self-estimulating your own brain chemistry and glands.

So this a possible explanation, or it could be any other cause. As a general norm I prefer to be as relaxed and open as possible.

God-Realize, this is First Business. Know that unless I live properly, this is not possible.

There is this body, I should know the requirements of my body. This is first duty.  We have obligations towards others, loved ones, family, society, etc. Without material wealth we cannot do these things, for that a professional duty.

There is Mind; mind is tricky. Its higher nature should be nurtured, then Mind becomes Wise, Virtuous and AWAKE. When all Duties are continuously fulfilled, then life becomes steady. @Davino Perfect. Thank you so much for the educated response! I won’t take anything on blind faith, but I seems like a really good clue. Appreciate ya.

Nice. Sounds like there might really be something to Kechari Mudra then.

You’re really one of the GOATs here. To me, being led into doing stuff you yourself don’t even understand yet is a pretty telltale sign you’re divinely guided and are on a good path. I call the guidance making you do these things Steerage.

Around 2.5 years ago I had a period (~3 months long) where I was deeply immersed into Steerage. For example, I was steered into poking around in my asshole multiple times. I’m not gay and it wasn’t very pleasurable, but I simply had to do it. I’m not sure if there was any „outcome” to it. Another thing: I was doing unknown to me yogic poses in a sequence (I think). I can’t remember what these were, but they were starting with a butterfly leg position while lying down. I was also travelling to weird places I normally wouldn’t ever go to, or inserted money and messages into random people’s car windshields/purses. 😆

”You will only do your meditation sessions and listen to masters. I will poke around in my asshole and throw messages into random people’s purses. We are not the same.” 🤣

Oh absolutely, it's an inner key to self stimulate the inner glands and hack the biochemical brain lab.

At some point one has to wonder, where all do these techniques come from? How were they discovered?

From that fountain one must drink.

I like the word Steering and in my life I've discovered that trusting it becomes an amazing catalyst for growth.

Be the divine instrument in God's hand. I sometimes deliver messages to people, I feel a divine urge to say something to someone. Once in a train I couldn't help myself and had to tell a person that a personal situation would finally resolve and she should worry not anymore, that her prayers were heard. Let the work happen through you, this is the Truth, be a pure vessel for God's Play to unfold.

Don't know if someone said this already but clenching the anus can release sexual energy in the muladhara chakra when you feel safe, (otherwise) relaxed, tranquil and focussed. You don't actually have to clench it, but an initial stimulus is helpful. Something that vibrates like a vibrator work better (lol).

More tranquility and more focus strengthens the feeling. You can have a touch free orgasm like this, actually.

The point in tantra yoga is now to pull this energy up through the spine through each chakra. This is what "the Kundalini is ascending"  means in my understanding.

You can think of the sexual energy as raw oil and the chakras as refinery plants that alchemize (I used this word intentionally) the "dirty" sexual energy into more pure forms of Energy. This way you can have a full body orgasm and ecstatic enlightenment, but it takes a lot of sexual energy, and you only have a limited amount each day. Also it is exhausting in a weird way and imo just because the experience is more intense, does not mean, that it is a more valid enlightenment or that it leads to more insight.

Let me "double up the information" here so to speak, via linking/quoting, that we its re bumped, and its not missed on ppl when they join. And i understand, you are looking for others exp., im jus making sure everyone is on the same page, more or less, though we can never really be sure bout it anyway (skip to the end for summary)

That is to say, theres a more fundamental idea to that, which is "Anticipating something SUDDEN, before it happens". Now that might not sound related, but our bodies are primitive. So when you drop down into a "stillness mindset" or a "vacant parking lot" or a "desolate forest" those are all instances of~Having started/begun in a certain gear, but then having ended up *Shifting gears, where your mind and body are trying to acclimate to the environment or situation. You might even say that our butt (really our immune/nervous system) knows us better than ourselves.

Yes, it's often used in kundalini yoga, ie closing the circuit, to raise the energy.
