Controversial Opinion: Moby Dick by Hermann Melville

I contest that Moby Dick written by Herman Melville contains more wisdom in it than Leo’s entire channel. Anyone who has read this book, let’s discuss.

It's the best book I've ever read.

However, I wouldn't go so far as to say it's superior to Actualized.org.

What I particularly appreciate about Moby-Dick is its exploration of determinism and fate.

I would literally fall asleep after reading it for 20 minutes. My eyes could not stay open. Maybe it would work better as an audio book.

I read it when I was 14. I LOVED it. 

The chapter where they were slowly suffocating put the fear in me.

I recall that fear when I read Red Dragon by Thomas Harris / Bram Stoker's Dracula (not on par as literary classics, like Moby Dick, mind you). Red Dragon in particular messed me up. I do alright with really dense material ie Bronte Sisters, Tolkien etc.

This is a big claim - you must have taken some big meanings/lessons/truth from the book.
