Stay Away From Idiots

72 posts in this topic

I also wanted to mention this:

Few days ago, a stupid NA member who is 15 years 'clean' and is very dogmatic and quite selfish said "this is not an inside problem, it's an outside problem".

Thats a quote from the NA book.

He meant that if i dont have to eat thats not the problem of the NA group. But mine problem.

I think i said enough.

It seems you can’t hear anything at this point but if your ears open up, @Lyubov is the voice of common sense here & he’s got sensible advice.

You don’t need money, you need to stop projecting your own selfishness on the world & get off your ass. Stop believing the crap your mind serves to you. You are not smarter than everyone.
Now your mind will proceed to spit more trash to justify how everything you just read is wrong & false & balabalabla. Observe it. That’s the crap I am speaking of. You are doing it. Stop.

@SQAAD When everything falls apart, it can feel like there’s nothing left to lean on. In moments like that, turning toward a higher power, God, or a sense of something greater than yourself can offer real support - especially when inner strength is exhausted. It doesn’t replace practical help like food, shelter, or money, but it can help you endure, stay oriented, and not lose yourself in the process.

Communities rooted in spirituality - churches or other traditions - can sometimes offer both human kindness and practical assistance. The specific path matters less than sincerity; what matters is finding something that helps you reconnect with dignity, meaning, and hope.

This kind of surrender can be deeply uncomfortable and even frightening. It may feel like walking through hell. But facing the situation honestly, all at once, can be less damaging than slowly breaking under it. You deserve support, relief, and a way forward, even if the first step is simply not carrying everything alone.

If you as a homeless person manage to turn people against you then it's a you-issue.

Guys, you are not listening.

He told you to stay away from idiots.

You should be wise enough to spot the idiot.

If you can't spot the idiot, well, then the idiot is you.

@Nemo28 AI naughty naughty

Why does it matter, I wrote my version, presented it to GPT, and it improved it so that it reads better and adds more value.

But yeah, I get that doing this actually makes my comment make less impact, because we all are so sick of AI. It's so correct and mechanical, and souless.

Sounds to me like you could use some basic life coaching advice.  You might make a written list of 10 immediate and tangible goals to accomplish right now that are focused on finances, health, and relationships only.  If you feel comfortable posting that here or part of it we can give you feedback.  Avoid any woo-woo and keep the list very practical.  Relationships could include meeting anyone, and who you spend your time socializing with.
