Darkness Retreat: What to expect?

I am going on a 3 Day 4 night darkness retreat very soon. I have already had many experiences of no self through self inquiry before, I have also done 5meo before. Anyone know what to expect or how profound it could be ?

I have been looking into it.  I have been told that after a few days you start having hallucinations.  I would carefully consider one's psychological makeup and whether you are comfortable with reaching some deep places while totally alone.

4 days are not gonna do anything except driving you crazy.  To hallucinate you gotta go for multiple weeks . When you’re in complete darkness and silence for long periods..your eyes and ears stop sending their usual signals..The brain doesn’t like “empty input” ..so it starts creating its own perceptions.

It sounds kinda boring, no? Like i personally would select the psychedelic retreats popping up now, but id also just pick going to a country i like, just for practical interests cause its kindve more of the old person thing to do now i suppose, but darkness might be fun~atleast in comparison to that, ha, who knows.

I expect darkness. A lot of it.
