Can "stupid" pursue awakening?

I am very naturally interested in topics like God, consciousness, nature of reality, awakening and so on. I have natural ability to think abstractly, I am intuitive, I have been through a lot of suffering, which also brings people som depth, I think. I meditate as well. When Leo and other intelligent people talk about God and related topics, I have a feeling that I understand incredibly much. More than most people, I suspect.

However, I am not among the top intelligent people (like Leo seems to be, although I'm not too bad either), I do not have my shit together, I struggle with career terribly, I am mostly jobless and sometimes I work as a fucking housekeeper. I don't quite master my emotions, I struggle with finances etc. I am depressive and sometimes suicidal, but most importantly - I'm not very much educated, I don't know basics of math, physics, history. I will never be able to know much of physics and math, its not exactly my type of brain.

My question is - is it ok to still be interested in those topics? How should I go about it? On your way to awakening, do you have to necessarily understand math and physics? Can a "normal", not so educated or math-inclined person awaken as well?

Stupid is awakening. The key to this is not to gain knowledge but to drop knowledge. Everything you've ever been told is a lie .that's why it's called awakening because you shed the illusions and remain with Truth ..one of which is the illusion of knowledge and intelligence. @Hello1 Think of it this way, its the Educated ppl that have destroyed this world, built up industry, developed technology (nuclear weapons, etc), set cultural norms (you are laking therefore buy my product to feel good), education systems that makes ppl into slaves of corporations and not really free, things of this nature.. Do the simple tribes ppl of this earth, that don't know a thing about science, math, physics, history are they destroying this earth in any way? No they are not..

So none of that stuff is important. Very Young Children (2,3yrs old) that haven't yet developed a strong ego or identity, watch them they just play and be happy.. They are more intouch with Life than most all educated people..

Don't make Spirituality (God, Infinity, Absolute) a subject of study, that will take You further away from actually realizing it, stay unsmart and continue to meditate, be naturally Happy and things will work out fine...

Yes if you know God and become retarded or are retarded than thats the best place to be. Leos videos are about deconstructing knowledge if you dont have to do it then you are better off.

@Joseph Maynor because God is before knowledge. Its 0 knowledge. Thats why psychedelics work your brain stops thinking and you get sucked out. Knowledge holds you in your brain. Like if each peice of knowledge was a shirt your spirit is wearing. There is a tiny hole to get sucked out but your soul must be naked of all knowledge( not wearing any clothes)

That's most people on this forum, so your not alone, including Leo, don't put him on such a high pedistool because you only reinforcing an illusion. People who truly "have their shit together" are consistent, in all areas, both in presentations and in comments.

The average forum user here is quite similar to how you described your "challenges" in life. Some more refined than others yes, but most are still learning to walk on their own two feet, as you can see from the comments, some even act like screaming babies wanting mama to give them their nipple

Its absolutely ok to be interested in these topics, follow what feels right and true to you each and every moment. Anyone can Awaken at any given moment. I think awakening is misunderstood, rather following your "true north" and being your "authentic self" is paramount.

Then that is an awakened life, because you are being your individual self and not copying one another.

Most of the moderators are young as well .you seem to assume that being young and unexperienced in practical life automatically means you can't be experienced in this spirituality and awakening business..but this is what OP is demonstrating to be false . Don't you realize that most nerdy kids in school are the ones who suck at social life and outgoings?  The more introverted you are the more you have intelligence in other fields.

I think some people do not sit well with the paradox of holding knowledge, and simultaneously not knowing.

Scientific knowledge does not help with Awakening AT ALL. It actually hurts.

Most Awakened people are not scientific.

The reason I talk about science is not because knowing science is needed for knowing God, it is to highlight the epistemic mistakes of science, to help scientists think better, and to free your mind from the shackles of science.

And in your newest videos about deconstructing rationality - you mention something that its necessery to first step up from the pre-rational level to rational and only then is this stuff for me (I roughly paraphrase). 

I watch the videos anyways because it interests me, but can someone like me then gain something from it? And if not - can I just ignore it and hope to be on the "right" path anyways? Or is it absolutely necessary if I wanna be inbolved in this work to step up from pre-rational to rational and then to post-rational?

Hope I'm clear, English is my 2nd language.

You see Preety everywhere - and you are quite mean to her on other platforms. Do you recognise that this is occuring because she is everything you have not yet integrated?
