I Am Behind The Eyes

9 posts in this topic

My experience of me is central in my head, behind the eyes.

When I experience an itch in my foot, I clearly notice a signal from a distant place (foot). The I noticing the itch is behind the eyes as usual.

I've never experienced my life from any other area of the body. I don't experience life from the knees, I experience it from behind the eyes. This is where the "I" lives.

However, when I close my eyes or get lost in thought, the "I" sort of... disappears? Or is no longer centralized? This is rather mysterious. And how is it possible I can get lost in thought while driving a car or doing other complex tasks with my eyes open? It just doesn't make sense.

Close your eyes but remain as if you are still looking straight ahead, that is awareness or practicing remaining aware/present.

Lost in thought = due to overstimulation / too much mental / sensory overload.

Try get really active in your body, bust a sweat, do some physical activity until you are tired, then notice the difference.

You need to shake it all off, that's why after a good dance or run you can sit deeply in thoughtlessness.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance of separative... unity...

The entire universe is looking through your eyes.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

LOL. W-wha..

Why would the universe (assuming it makes sense that the universe could even 'see' something to begin with, or even if it could, have any agenda to do so) be interested in peeking through the eyes of someone posting on the super duper actualized forum, lol?

I can see you picturing one of those Pinterest edits, of " cosmic deities', like Brahman or some shit...or a giant glowing man with galaxies swirling in his eyes,  and you actually think that’s reality, lol. You’ve probably got that image tucked somewhere in your subconscious, like the universe is a big dude peeking through your skull, lol.

That sounds more like rehashed pantheism on steroids blended with mild hallucination.

Yes, you are the one behind your eyes. Not the "universe," like some folks here say. That's spiritual decay and degenerate spirituality (such is monism or dualism/nondualism), not knowledge or any "truth." Don't listen to anybody telling you how you should see yourself. That should be your first red flag that a threat is in your way. The guy who runs this website is obsessed with dualities he invents and is probably into some form of hardcore Gnosticism or Zoharic Kabbalah, even likely mixed with Thelema, all the way from the start.
Watch this and leave these "nonduality" or "enlightenment" cults while you can. It's all a sham. A hoax.
They are literally depersonalization/dissociation cults. That's all they are.

@svreishrenWhen I awaken I blinked and I saw the entire universe behind my eyes. Like physical universe. The universe is sentient and it has a point of view the same way you have a point of view as a human. The universe has eyes that it can look out of like you think you do.

Pretend you had an infinite library of movies to watch, you can pick any kind of movie ever created in the history of the universe but you dont have a preference as to which one to watch (genre, style). You dont know which one to watch so you just click on a random one and start watching. So why this one? This is the one you picked as simple as that.

The universe has a personality like you have right now its not like an empty thing. The universe is empty but the personality (the blackness behind your eyes ) isnt.

The universe is like a person or whatever makes the person a person, and not a robot. It can go WOW IM THE UNIVERSE! I CANT BELEIVE IM THE UNIVERSE! WOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOWOW!

Like Leo, you’re using words you don’t actually understand. You say “entire universe” as if that’s a tangible, total thing, but it’s not. There is no “entire.” You’re assuming the universe is some fixed, completed totality that can be seen or grasped, when in reality it’s a constant flux, an ongoing creation, not a static whole. So the very phrase “entire universe” is incoherent. Just like there is no 'everything.' Just like there is no 'infinite'. And the universe is not 'infinite'. And you don't live in an 'infinite' reality. It's indefinite, indeifnite, and indefinite.

You couldn't even know what you mean by "Universe", let alone "entire". So, you're not really saying anything.

At best, you might’ve observed yourself from a certain zoomed-out perspective or had visuals of planets, space, or some images you associate with "cosmic imagery". But that doesn’t mean you saw the universe, it just means you hallucinated symbolic representations of it. Even an out-of-body experience wouldn’t make that claim valid.

Saying “I saw the universe behind my eyes” makes no sense because the universe is out there, external to you. What you saw was in your mind—subjective imagery, neural fireworks, psychedelic patterning, not the universe itself. Because that makes no sense.

@svreishrenIt is because theres something outside of it looking into it. If theres something outside looking in that means theres an end. It ends the same spot you end in physical reality. Right now you are outside of the universe looking into the universe. Thinking you are the thing in the universe when you arent that.

Its infinitely deep but has a starting point. The starting point is God which is what you are. The thing outside of the universe looking into it. That thing is nothing.

Theres no physical reason why I would have neurons that have a point of view of the entire universe in my head.

You cant know the whole universe because its infinitely deep but you can see you are it. God didnt create the entire universe from the bottom up it just said Im God and I create the entire universe and it happened. The starting point is the beggining and the whole thing. Your existence started from the point of view of the entire universe.

Its qualia is awe, clean, shiny, perfectly ordered.

When you see that you are the entire universe there is still something behind you from the universes point of view. Its the infinite SHIVA
