I Am Behind The Eyes

3 posts in this topic

My experience of me is central in my head, behind the eyes.

When I experience an itch in my foot, I clearly notice a signal from a distant place (foot). The I noticing the itch is behind the eyes as usual.

I've never experienced my life from any other area of the body. I don't experience life from the knees, I experience it from behind the eyes. This is where the "I" lives.

However, when I close my eyes or get lost in thought, the "I" sort of... disappears? Or is no longer centralized? This is rather mysterious. And how is it possible I can get lost in thought while driving a car or doing other complex tasks with my eyes open? It just doesn't make sense.

Close your eyes but remain as if you are still looking straight ahead, that is awareness or practicing remaining aware/present.

Lost in thought = due to overstimulation / too much mental / sensory overload.

Try get really active in your body, bust a sweat, do some physical activity until you are tired, then notice the difference.

You need to shake it all off, that's why after a good dance or run you can sit deeply in thoughtlessness.

I am but a reflection... a mirror... of you... of me... in a cosmic dance of separative... unity...

The entire universe is looking through your eyes.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.
