And for clarity - logical impossibility is not the same as your inability to doubt things.

Your doubting ability can be limited by a bunch of things, but that doesnt mean that what you cant doubt must be true. Thats an implicit unjustified premise.

Something can be logically possible and you can be inable to doubt that thing;  and on the other hand, something can be logically impossible and you can concieve of that thing being true.

@Leo Gura Okay, so the reasoning is that first handle survival needs (acquire marketable skills, finances, dating and socialization skills, have no debt, have some basic home, etc) because once you get too metaphysical and trip some more, you might lose motivation to do all the above and therefore not do them, which will make life harder?

Yes.

You want to feel materially secure before you run off into the ocean of God.

Metaphysical realizations will not help do business, and business is necessary.

@Leo Gura By business you mean all the survival stuff that we do or just strictly finances and career?

Just asking because I'm very careful about this point, I'm 29 and slowly bulding my life (career, skills, finances, dating life, living environment, travel, health and fitness, basic self-help, healing trauma, therapy, removing addictions, etc). But at the same time I slowly realize that life should not be about these ultimately, there should be something deeper going on. And I look at those as foundation, handling survival to the point that I am not desperate in any major areas.

Also, I see the trap of losing myself in all these and not taking metaphysics seriously once I'm somewhat satisfied with how the survival is handled. Its a tricky thing to balance.

All the survival stuff, think of Maslow's hierarchy of needs bro. Finances and business are crucial to have a safety net so you won't hit rock bottom.

Your doing great, I'm 27 but I started psychedelics when I was 19 and it made it hard for me to be ambitious because I found God. I'm slowly getting my finances and career in order all thanks to Leo's life purpose course. I'm still doing all those survival things to get me to a spot where I can rest with God and not worry about survival while checked out of the game every now and then.

Yea I'm taking a break from tripping. after 9 years of being into this stuff I am going to just go build a business and work on social skills. I can sense a 5meo trip would break me out of it, but just being totally sober leads to massive momentum. It's not a miserable thing, when it's what your heart wants, it can be a beautiful spiritual experience.
