@Something Funny

I am happy with what you are saying because it is confirming what Jesus said - that his followers will be persecuted for proclaiming their allegiance to Him.

Jesus and spirituality is a way to grift people into thinking they are saved and then gives them the spiritual authority to then wish people were saved themselves. Its ego. All of a sudden instead of being drunk all the time you are now a spiritual guru that wishes people safety cause you found a fictional character. Now you are suddenly above looking below without anything happening.

If Jesus works its fine but dont go around claiming you are now in heaven and we are heathens for no reason at all. You are in the same spot you were 2 weeks ago. You just made up a character that will save you.

Hahaha, doesn't that just prove the power of Jesus? 🙂

@TruthFreedomNo its delusional its like saying superman will save me and now im better than you all. And i pray you make up superman because I am higher than you now. It will go away as fast as it came.

Jesus clearly says dont worship me worship God. God is superman you need Jesus cause you havent found God.

You need to find God not Jesus.

They did say those who believe in Superman will be ridiculed and persecuted and mocked. You are a strong one 💪 ❤️ the power of Krypton compells them. Their disbelief only proves Superman right.

It wasn't Jesus who was saying those words. It was Love speaking through him. It flips the meaning of a message a bit.

Love said "No one comes to the Father except through me"

Love is your only way home, in other words.

 Leo can I get clarification on this.

I'd assume you'd agree that it's useful to have some kind of trinket or object that belonged to a dead relative to keep in the house that is comforting to you because you accociate it with the dead relative...

Like there's a real connection in the mind there, the association between the object (maybe a gift you gave to the dead relative) and the dead relative themselves. Or even a photograph of the dead relative. Of course the photograph isn't the dead relative it's just a representation...but The emotion you feel when you look at a photograph of a dead relative is real. If reality is unlimited imagination is it not alright to use images and pictures in the mind if they help you connect with God? (Image of jesus/Buddha/Krishna etc.)

And I know that this analogy isn't exactly right and I know that gaining direct access to god would be like raising the relative from the dead. But until that happens, surely it's acceptable to use whatever means necessary to gain some kind of experiential connection with god from a picture? Like the starting ground... (If the person can maintain at all times a subtle awareness that the map isn't the territory and there is more). Is it not alright to use images with this in mind? Like at the end of the day we need to have some kind of faith to begin the path to enlightenment and that usually comes associated with some kind of picture, a picture we know we will someday transcend and replace with the real thing..

@Leo Gura

Although I might be underestimating the power of mental pictures and their influence in manipulating or warping the mind of the holder of the picture...like this guy's saying Jesus died for our sins. That's clearly not what I'm talking about. The more I think about it, the more I'm starting to realise that a person needs to be quite epistemically skilled to use pictures without becoming too deluded.

I'd rather you be a Buddhist.

Not saying Buddhism is good, its obviously not, but at least a Buddhist temple will teach you to meditate properly.

@Aaron p they aren't using the tool they are saying the tool exists and therefore I am automatically free and don't have to think about it and can go do what I want.

Not only that but the tool exists i am not using it i acknowledge it exists and therefore I am better than you and you need to be saved.

But isnt the story of Jesus a story of infinite love? Even if it's a fantasy, you did say in your Love episode God has infinite imagination. Can even imagine that he's not imagining it and call it real... so could be a real fantasy like that of infinite love.

A story of sacrifice and of powerful values. I believe Christianity is not a problem for that reason, it's a story of love. On the other hand, I do have problem with religion like Islam.

I've learned TONS from you Leo.

I've watched your solipsism video numerous times recently. I even had an awakening where I realised no-self, and it was incredible, I was laughing like crazy.

Since then I have spent hours and hours meditating and finding emptiness and ONLY emptiness.

Jesus has filled that emptiness for me. Maybe this is something you simply don't understand, because it involves experiences you are not familiar with.

Maybe Jesus is a fantasy to you. But please don't be so ignorant and arrogant to discount my experience as if you know what MY experience is. Because we all have different experiences.

Why is your mind not open to the possibility that the story in the Bible could be true, and that all these Christians may be onto something. Something beyond even what you have experienced.

I assume you don't pray?

@TruthFreedom

 was there something in particular that you read which catalyzed this? I’m trying to read more from the Bible but have mostly stuck to the Torah for the moment. Any particular New Testament book that helped you more others
