@IshangaIf you learn to love to hate yourself, you will never have a bad time. Its logical, if you learn to love yourself you will not like to hate yourself, if you learn to hate yourself, you wont experience love. If you learn to love to hate yourself, you can survive perfectly in any scenario. If you hate to love yourself, its negative. Loving to hate yourself, is positive.

Love or Hate isn't a "Learning", is an experience You create within, you can either do it Consciously or Unconsciously...

And again the above doesn't make any sense...

@IshangaThe fact that you can do it consciously or unconsciously, implies learning. Unless life purposefully does things unconsciously, for a reason. That implies that you cant do things consciously and unconsciously, life is doing it to you.

Everyone has their own perception of the world and the people in it. But thank you for sharing yours.

Again you're trying to impose and validate for yourself a perception of reality that is unique to you. Fine, have fun.

I am not trying to impose, I am simply being, playing, dancing. Why does it trigger you?

At the end of the... reality is reality, call it a play, a dance, a game, our perception of it cannot change what it is.

What is "Fine" ?

F eeling
I nsecure
N umb
E xhausted

or maybe... Fear, Inside, Nothing, Expressed?

I’ve read the whole thread, and it seems like quite a few people here have actually tried Sadhguru’s Inner Engineering and his approach to kriya yoga.

So how about we just ask them point blank about their purely subjective experiences? After all, it’s pretty hard to design a valid, foolproof scientific study on something as complex as yoga. We do have some data from PubMed, sure, but in my view, that doesn’t mean we should dismiss the subjective reports of those who’ve walked the talk and have something to share.

I’d really like to hear your stories (@OBEler @Carl-Richard @Ishanga @The Blind Sage @SamC), and I think they could be useful for others too. You mentioned there were some benefits — but what exactly? And how long did you practice before you started noticing results? Were the results mostly psychological? Physical? Or maybe something more esoteric, like subtle body experiences, energy, kundalini phenomena? What about more low-key effects in daily life? Maybe some of the people you know personally had some interesting experience with it as well?

I think kriya yoga is an important part of self-actualization, and this is a great opportunity for us to learn more about it.

I have not tried any of his programs, but certainly some of his meditation techniques. But it goes back to "reading energy". Sadhguru videos seem to invoke the non-dual state in me. Maybe I can watch any video with enough attention and openness and the same will happen. But I sense I get "pulled into it" by Sadhguru, Rupert Spira, etc. @UnbornTao :P

You can watch porn and get aroused too. Doesn't mean the pornstars are enlightened.

Too technical?

Anyway, it's a state - a change in the body-mind. Not different in essence from being told a joke and laughing as a result. Or feeling inspired after watching a motivational talk.

You're like the most interesting person on the forum because you take anything else than Enlightenment as hocus pocus fairytales, beliefs, states, while essentially the rest think temporary awakenings are the real deal. And I appreciate that 😙
