What are some things we do today that future generations will see as "savage"?

Because smoking cigarettes brings a lot of happiness to people such myself. There is nothing I love more than smoking a cigarette at night.

How dare you complain about psychedelics?

What gross bias.

I smoke a cigarette every other day at night because it brings me a lot of clarity of mind, a lot of peace and a lot of happiness.

I don't smoke cigarettes to realize God or the nature of reality like you guys do with psychedelics. I smoke because it makes me extremely happy and because I have a very active lifestyle, the health damage is non existent.

I stopped doing this caprice for 3 years a few years ago, but I realized that I lost all incentive to go out at night and explore the nightsky. Which is what brings me the most happiness in life. Those 3 years without smoking at all were the most depressing and meaningless years of my life. Without smoking at night I feel like I'm in prison.

The same way you contemplate in a closet, I contemplate at night, watching the sky, while smoking a cigarette.

If you smoke a few cigarettes a day and you are active physically, the poison is far too little to do damage on you. I smoke a cigarette every other day

Are you trolling me indirectly?  :D:x

Scientifically I'm more at risk to develop some severe illness for inhaling concrete dust or brick dust that results when I use power tools at work like a drill or the concrete mixer or an angle grinder.
If a few cigarettes a week harm my body I'd rather die than be in a such fragile body. Thankfully I'm strong as an ox. I got good genetics.

Sorry but I don't get what you mean by that. Is it positive or a negative thing?

Neither. I just meant that I say what you just said in that post very often .the whole thing about smoking late at night I've said that million times before and caused headaches to people here about my sexual relationship with cigarettes. 😂

Yes I understand you. I think you nailed that right. If I take a good look at my relationship with cigarettes, I am also in some kind of weird relationship with the cigarettes. In my case I'd consider a cigarette my contemplative partner. I'm a loner, I hate other people, for some reason when I'm alone with the firmament and a cigarette, I feel like I'm one with the universe. I don't need other people. Just me and nature.

Totally relate . But between me and you we must put the motherfucking cigarette down . We know it's bad .it's a fucking addiction.  Addiction is suffering by definition. It's the matrix . A self Actualized and enlightened human being is one who is capable of getting high on existence itself . Not a slave to "things ".

I disagree. I'm not addicted to cigarettes. I'm addicted to serenity and peace. And nothing brings me more peace than blowing smoke while looking into the depts of darkness.

How on earth you don't see how this is problematic?

For real, I see no problem with this. As I said, smoking 3 or 4 cigarettes a week ain't no problem. There is nothing problematic in being happy.
I don't see a problem in that, the same way you guys don't seem to see a problem when you plug a syringe in your asshole to experience "God". You experience God, I experience serenity.

Very flat logic . No problem with being happy sure..let's take out that syringe out of our poo-hole and inject Heroin into our veins and let the entire world go to hell .

I've got the similiar sort of thing with coffee, because I have it internally linked with the feelings of comfort, warmth and this sort of cozy happiness. I think that's the case for you and cigarettes. It's probably all just conditioning which just became etched into our minds over time by advertisements and people around us

I don't think coffee is very comparable. Those who don't drink coffee have a higher risk of depression and suicide than those who do, and if you force ChatGPT to answer yes or no on whether coffee is healthy or not, the answer is yes. Enjoy your coffee without guilt, I say!

Oh really? That's an interesting correlation which I ought to look into more. I'm definitely gonna think of this post tomorow morning as I'll be sitting at my desk, sipping on some delicious Wagie-o Americano
