I experienced infinity in a lucid dream

11 posts in this topic

Last night I was fully in control of manifesting whatever I wanted in my dream, it ranged from creating awesome music to flying around to creating awesome sunsets. Then I was like "I wanna see infinity" and then I went to this totally empty space. It was so empty and so unimaginably vast that it was uncomfortable. Imagine looking down and being able to see infinite distance. There were patterns but they were like on the "floor" of the universe, an infinite distance away from me. Then everything started spinning extremely fast and I woke up. I woke up feeling very confident that I am creating and manifesting all of reality. This reality is no different than that dream.

Not saying I experienced absolute infinity, just infinite space and emptiness which was pretty cool.

Pretty cool! Thanks for sharing. I've been thinking along these lines lately of using lucid dreaming to experiment with Awakening. If you wake up to the fact that you're the dream and the dreamer (God) simultaneously, then one should be then able to do really anything.

Yes. The first time I experienced infinity was in a very vivid dream.

It's legit.

Happened to me as well a couple of time

One of those was a bit terrified because it felt like I was stuck in that infinity for infinity and the idea of myself was crushing and I was kind of afraid of dying and not being able to get back to my body again.

Cool experiences with cool insight though, and they randomly happened, sort of like a sudden blessing-curse

@Leo Gura Was that before psychedelics or after? I haven't done any psychedelics nor experienced mystical states in any sober way and I plan to work on my dream consciousness, making myself more and more aware inside of dreams.

So you're saying that can be used as a legit way of experiencing God?

Any tips on lucid dreaming that doesn’t involve waking up in the middle of the night?

Some sort of obsessive type of perceptive practice.

For example, hroughout the day you focus on the nature of visuality. If you create a sufficiently obsessive mind around that, that obsession will carry over into dreams and you will naturally begin to focus on your perception in a dream, which leads to lucidity.

I've heard that if you struggle with lucid dreaming / astral projection (I believe AP is a form of lucid dreaming), having some blue lotus tea can help induce it. Any other substances that can?

@Oppositionless "The Mexican dreaming herb, also known as Calea zacatechichi (or Calea ternifolia), is traditionally used in Central America for its purported ability to enhance lucid dreaming."

I heard it increases dreams, so I tried it once.
My buddy tried it and the result was increased dreams.
I have insane amount of dreams every night so basically I didn't notice any effects.

The night this happened I was visualizing as I fell asleep and thinking in images as opposed to words. You want there to be a seamless transition into mild sleep, so you can't really tell at which point you actually fell asleep.
