There is definitely more to reality than just the mind playing tricks. And I disagree. Those are real spiritual beings that can show up in those heightened states of awareness

There’s no meaning to any of it imo.

Meaning is the ego or brain or mind trying to make sense of what can’t be understood.

Yes 10000% sure. It’s amazing how people have these crazy experiences with Jesus and he totally radically changes lives.

Alright, good to know! I'll continue watching your YouTube testimony and come back.

Thank you for your response and I agree with what you said about needing to gain maturity around the energies. But you know what? Shining light, that is protection. Jesus Christ the most high, is the ultimate protection because he is the highest in the spiritual realms.

If you haven’t experienced just how dark things can get with demons and dark energies, you don’t realize it’s not possible to do this alone. We need a spiritual master of sorts. Which is why so many turn to “ascended masters”. And Jesus is the most high master. I’ve seen darkness flee at his name unlike anything else. Idk what else to make of it other than he is the most high.

The point is not to make darkness flee away. The point is to embrace it and transmute it. Darkness is not your enemy. In fact love has no enemies, it dives into everything with open arms. Unless you're not ready to deal with those energies, then it can be that the angels will guard you until you develop more. Which could be what is happening to you now.

The thing is, light doesn't need protection and you are the light. But your knowledge of your true nature is not yet certain or stable or deep enough and that's when it can be difficult to manage such experiences that you're describing. Honestly I think psychedelics opened up things for you that you were not meant to experience at this stage of development.

@Flowerfaeiry Okay, so a little background about my ex...

Motherless (ex was 3), father almost always abroad, step-mother, one step-sister, no other siblings. She grew up very religious (Christian), and still lives in a heavily Christian environment, even though she was mostly into new-age when we were together. She has a traumatic childhood and teenage and even adulthood (she was molested sexually), with many fears and neuroses, mostly related to socialization. She'd been constantly looking for protection, certainty, the truth, and answers about life, which she eventually claimed to have finally found them.

Are there similarities? And what would you like to discuss?

Just your mind playing tricks on you.

As i said i was also Jesus, Krishna, Lizzard, Dead etc and so on on psychedelic trips but there’s really no meaning to it.

Did you try to vocalize the name of Jesus and see what effects it had?

"There is no absolute sensemaking framework" ≠ "reality doesn't follow a structure or logic".

This is the only forum where people will seriously entertain somebody claiming they can change into an alien on camera but are immensely skeptical of the effects of invoking the name of one of the most accomplished saints in history.

Neither are impossible, but I recon one is much more likely than the other.

Do you believe in psychic phenomena or are you a crypto-materialist?

I think most of this stuff is just the mind playing tricks on you, survival mechanisms, coping mechanisms etc. and it’s mostly meaningless. Doesn’t mean it doesn’t happen for “you” and your story.

@Flowerfaeiry What are spirits and what do you mean by Jesus?

It sounds like it is beneficial and helped you heal, so that's great.

Also, wasn't it Yeshua? ;)

Most of? How do you make the distinction?

All of basically. I’m just trying to be nice. Everything is meaningless.

Everything is meaningless.

Nihilism: is a philosophical belief that life has no inherent meaning, purpose, or value. It often involves a rejection of traditional values, moral principles, and religious beliefs. Nihilism can encompass a range of views, from skepticism about knowledge and communication to a belief in the meaninglessness of existence and even a call for destruction.

Well it’s not nihilism because I’m imo saying the “me” produces meaning and it’s an illusion. And not that there is a me which lives a meaningless life o woeful me.

I have never heard of someone having a Jesus hallucination without previous indoctrination.  It also occurs in near death experiences.  I have done 20 Ayahuasca ceremonies, and have seen Jesus in a few because that is what I grew up with.

In the field of epistemology, relativistic versions of nihilism assert that knowledge, truth, or meaning are relative to the perspectives of specific individuals or cultural contexts, implying that there is no independent framework to assess which opinion is ultimately correct. Skeptical interpretations go further by denying the existence of knowledge or truth altogether.
