But in this way the way my DNA got that idea was by looking at the face of my dad. We werent like at seperate places, not interacting with each other and then suddenly my DNA got the idea from my dads DNA.

@Jannes No even if you never saw your dad you would get the idea. The idea is in your DNA. You have the experience of your dad getting his face tattoo in your body its part of you. Your body is telling you what to do based on your dad and mom and other relatives. Your entire identity is based around your parents they copied themselves and made you.

You mean because your DNA has a deterministic plan for you?

But your DNA changes when it is inercting with the world. Maybe my dad saw a cool tattoo after I was born that I didnt see which changed his DNA but not mine.

@Jannes Your DNA has markers on it that will mark life events and you will go through similar situations.

It does change but it dosent delete data. 

If your dad gets a face tattoo at 19. At 19 a thought will pop into your head about getting a face tattoo and you will be inclined to do it to follow a similar path. If you dont then your DNA will wite that you didn't which will effect your child's DNA.

If your dads life was a movie. Your movie will have similar events to his in many ways. You aren't even interacting with stuff life is like a dream ancestor sim you are watching.

But life is so complex and unpredictable. My life is so different from that of my dad, I will get very different ideas. 
And this also wouldnt account for many things which arent in the DNA, for example when a parent notices when I die in war. Unless the dna somehow contains all of the information about reality.

@Jannes What in life has changed? Humans work the exact same way. The scenario and backgrounds will change but identity and relationships and human stuff stays the same. If you are sweeping a floor with straw or using a Dyson it dosent matter. If you are talking by yelling at each other via mountains or texting on phones all the context stays the same in life. Fighting in war or hanging out watching Netflix. Its fundamentally who am I and what are my relationships and where do I stand.

You do have your own influence and are your own being but your families DNA severly alters your reality by making you think and act certain ways. 1 implanted thought from 0 is infinite percent more thoughts as they repeat. Say your DNA implants 30 percent of your daily thoughts. Thats a huge amount of impact since you dont even know which ones are you and which ones aren't.

A mother has a serious identification with her babies when her son dies her identity dies and she feels it. Sadhguru talked about it he said the mother has an intense identification with the baby and the baby has one too but it tapers off the older they get but dosent leave the mother. These identities have influence over eachothers bodies. Like you can make your mom do something and your mother would do anything for you. This is identity.

Your DNA is like a bunch of these fundamental thoughts mixed in together. And God is creating your world. You aren't either of them you are something else being influenced by these things.

Your mind? How much reach does it have, where does it end or begin?
Whose "neurons" are "simulating" the "direct experience" of "others"?

I think thats a bit simplistic to look at. Even small differences can create very different experiences, nevermind being in a war vs watching netflix. Although I agree that some patterns overlap.

But what about an experience where the mom suddenly feels like something is up with her child which is not to be expected, for example being killed in a war. How would DNA explain that?

Also we kind of got carried away. The initial example of telepathy were these birds and fish moving in perfect coordination. How does DNA explain that?

@Jannes I don't know why they fly in these patterns. The guy is saying its a bonding field i have no idea. They could be doing an ancient dance. They could be seeing life at 8k faster frames than us and they are ball room dancing. Who knows. But it is in their DNA or they wouldn't be doing it.

The point was not why they do these formations but why they dont bump into each other when they do it.

@Jannes true. It was like that for me. I was denying my direct experiences for years. But it started to happen so much that i couldn't deny it anymore and it became a part of my reality now
