I challenge you to invent a new concept or word related to our work here. Anything related to self-actualization, consciousness work, spirituality, politics, philosophy, psychology, mind, psychedelics.

Godasm (or God-asm)

Define what your word means and what it does not mean.

• Pointer to Awakening comparison to genital orgasm, feeling of ecstasy-nothing like it. (God fucks your Mind)
• Does not mean pseudo Awakening, masking as God-Realization proper when its really of a lesser degree

Give a few examples of how the word can be used.

• "Man, had my first Godasm last night- so much better than mentally masturbating all the time
• "Your spiritual cherry ain't been popped until you have that Godasm"

Explain why this new concept is meaningful, important, or useful.

• Emphasizes the importance of Awakening/God Realization thru direct experience, not belief or hearsay. After all, an experience of an actual orgasm is 1000x better than belief in it , or what anyone says about it.

Non-participatory Dissonance:

noun.

The subtle psychological discomfort that arises when a person's identity frame is silently not affirmed by another who occupies a later stage of ego development. The dissonance is not caused by argument, rejection, or overt contradiction, but by the other’s non-participation in the illusion. This silent perceptual mismatch destabilizes the unconscious coherence of the original frame, not through conflict, but through deeper consciousness.

 

Example 1: A hippie, SD Green yoga teacher approaches and serenely thanks you "for being deeply human". You smile politely and acknowledge the compliment, but don't extend it back. They notice a subtle drop in energy and a vague sense they have not been fully received.

Example 2: An Andrew Tate follower is being loud and braggadocious. Talking about women, they look to you for affirmation. "You know what I'm talking about, right?". You listen without judgment, conscious of the act they are putting on. They start to feel uncomfortable, like they are being seen through, but they don't know why.

 

A key part of this phenomenon is that it is all unconscious for the other person. They notice discomfort without understanding why. Thus they cannot overtly blame you, but it's still felt by them. They may avoid you in the future or lash out at you in other ways.

This is important to our work, because as you move into higher stages of ego development, you will notice this phenomenon with those you interact with. You will be less able to genuinely join them in their frame, which will devalidate them. And you will not even intentionally try to do this. You may even accept where this person is at. But the dissonance will still be felt. So it's important for your social relationships that you catch this when it happens, in case it is causing friction. Giving it name will help you to notice it.

• A person who's ignorant about the ontological structure of reality
• Does not mean this is an adjective to describe a state of mind that is incurable.

• Mr. Krass (science teacher) is such an ontologidiot at times, he can't help himself
• Actualized.org has reformed many ontologidiots over the years, me included

Explain why this new concept is meaningful, important, or useful.

• Idiots lack intelligence, true Intelligence points to being able to grasps ontological nature of reality
• Fun term, non serious, playful

I've been working on a new word that describes the kind of group think we tend to see on the internet which I felt no previous word adequately described.

The word that I came up with being "ideological cult", which I define as a rigid group-identity centered around a particular ideology that excludes non-conformist thought and borders on being fanatical.

Characteristics of an ideological cult:

• Is always a group identity.
• Highly conformist. Everyone involved just adopts and parrots the core beliefs of the ideological cult unquestioningly and non-conformist thought and behavior is excluded with prejudice.
• They almost exclusively propagate in echochambers because their highly defensive of their beliefs.
• Is usually is an attempt to solve some kind of common grievance but ends up creating exaggeratory, dramatic and binary thinking. Leans heavily on a victim mentality.
• Can be left by simply no longer subscribing to the core ideas of the cult, unlike a regular cult which relies more on indoctrination and power dynamics. You don't have to know anyone to be part of an ideological cult. It is defined by the core ideas and group-identity.
• Instills a world view of natural enemies, of us VS them (incels VS women/chads, sovereign citizens VS the law, trans VS transphobes, etc.).
• Tend to be algorithmically biased and are therefor prone to hyperbole and a sliding scale of extreme thought.
• Can have idol worship at its core but doesn't have to be (Eg. MAGA).
• Can be isolating, like an ordinary cult, as they can promote self-sabotaging beliefs, like thinking your too ugly to date.
• Propagate through the internet almost exclusively as ideological cults wholly rely on communication tools to survive.

Examples of ideological cults:

• MAGA
• Nofap
• The online Trans movement
• Any pill community
• Flat earth
• Incels 
• Antifa
• Hardline veganism
• Sovereign citizens
• Postmodern "woke" ideology
• Andrew Tate fans

This definition is still kinda half-baked to be honest but I feel like there is no good word to describes these ideological groups that we see everywhere now online. There should be way more examples of ideological cults than I could come up with if my definition makes sense. These ideologies often prey on peoples insecurities and ignorance and cloud their thinking with exaggerated and false beliefs. It paradigm locks people in a conformist sort of way.

Naught-knowing

When a scientist, rationalist, or normie insists that the ultimate nature of reality cannot be known, as a result shutting down metaphysical or spiritual inquiry. 
What it is not: Naught-knowing is to be contrasted with “not knowing,” which is the radical admission that one doesn’t know something. The naught-knower claims that it is impossible to know or that such pursuits are meaningless. Therefore they shall know naught 

Examples:

1) You: Hey, have you ever thought about the ultimate nature of existence?

Normie: What? How could you know that? It’s impossible! (reacts angrily)

You: Hold my crocodile infinity!

2) “I tried to talk mysticism with Brian and his naught-knowing took over. I called him out on it and told him to get on his not-knowing game instead. Then he got confused and started doing crocodile tears🐊🐊🐊. Smh, hate these normies man.”

3) “When Richard Dawkins started doing his naught-knowing spiel, I gave him a slap on the cheek and said, ‘YOU’RE INFINITY GODDAMIT!’ “

Why it’s important: Because this identifies a common behavior of humans who are not interested in truth. Now you can recognize what they’re doing and decide how to react. You also now better understand what actual not knowing means based on the contrast.

Mind virus

False beliefs that create a warped sense of reality.

An effective and simple way to describe bad ideas that frames them as inherently having negative consequences for the people who hold such beliefs and others potentially. Like a disease. 

Belief in any noxious and false ideology is a mind virus. False limiting beliefs about yourself and life are mind viruses. Wrong beliefs held doggedly are mind viruses. Thinking unimportant things are important are mind viruses.

Some concrete examples of mind viruses:

• Zionism
• Nazism
• Racist ideology
• Thinking that you are unlovable
• Untrue blackpills
• Thinking women don't deserve respect because of their gender
• Religion and idol worship
• Untrue old wives tales
• Thinking it is impossible for you to find happiness (usually not true)

Used to stress intellectual and mental integrity. 

I love this one. Its so simple but conveys a lot of what you think of a particular idea and it's clear what it means.

@BasmanMind Virus is not a new word; plus that's two ordinary words. I would suggest maybe creating a word with the same meaning but either different prefix or suffix, like maybe mindvirusism or mentalbacterialism, or germamindism or mindgerminism

Mind corruptible 

Meaning - Things which corrupt the mind such as status ,power,authority,group think etc.

Sentence example - His hold on authority proved to be a mind corruptible factor in his understanding of the world accurately.

This concept is meaningful as it indicates how much negative influence does social conformity can have on the mind.
