How Latin American immigrants are threatening the survival of average Americans, tho lol? According to all available studies, migrants, whether legal or illegal, commit fewer crimes than locals and work hard. That's hilarious that so many Americans are so spooked by Spanish-speaking brown catholics, who share the same values as MAGA's btw. It is irrational and stupid.

Let's just cut through it: Its largely about skin color. They consider it threatening to their race to have other races or mixed races among them. Most people couldn't even describe culture if you told them about it, or name many countries on a map, let alone understand them. So its skin color, that's it.

What the people enforcing this are doing is trying to rid America of black and brown people, discourage them from arriving. That's why they have so many white supremacists in ICE. Its Nazi leaning, its worse than a fascist doctrine. Shooting at reporters as is going on is fascist, but the overall policy is a Nazi policy. People use that lightly, I don't. The people running the government, not just trump who is a moron but the actual people he has running the show Like Pete Hegstaff, they are Nazi's or at least white supremacists.

Exactly this. Stephen Miller, Steve Bannon, Elon Musk, etc are legitimately all outright Nazis. As in, they have well-documented ties to neo-Nazi groups or have openly made statements favouring white supremacy.

Neo-Nazis attacked the White House. Trump told the Proud Boys to “stand by.”

MAGA is literally a Nazi movement. This isn’t controversial to say. The Shadow of Hitler still haunts the minds of selfish white Americans everywhere.

You’re a Nazi apologist. It’s so obvious that you are but you’d rather die than ever admit this to yourself.

Trump and his cabinet are unequivocally Nazis. Stop trying to go to bat for them. It’s pathetic.

Yea i always said Elon Musk and Trump etc. are wannabe fascists. But there are other fascists than the Nazis. For example Franco in Spain or Mussolini aka Muskolini or Argentina and Chile and Portugal.

If it walks like a Nazi, and quacks like a Nazi, it’s probably a Nazi.

I mean if it makes you happy. To me it’s just boring and not really helpful to always reduce everything to a few buzzwords like. Nazi, colonialist, genocide, islamophobe, communist, patriarchy and so on.

Stephen Miller is a white nationalist using federal forces to illegally expel integrated Hispanic people from the country. There’s no other explanation for this other than he’s a Nazi who wants to promote white people at the expense of all other races.

I don’t know, whatever I can? Resist? Organise? Get involved in anti-fascist and pro-democracy groups? Look out for my non-white friends?

I’m just one guy, I can’t solve this alone. But I do know for there to be any justice on this earth Trump’s Nazi bullshit and his den of pigs need to be brought down for good. I don’t know the answer but I’m not going to stand by on the sidelines in the meantime.

Yo leftists, I'm sometimes a leftie too, but you know whats needed for you to drop this leftist delusion regarding immigrants? To be robbed at knife point in a parking lot by a mob of Syrians! Thats what happened to my father 2 years ago in Germany! Fuck migrants! They can rob eachother in Syria or Mexico, but not on countries that have been built by centuries of taxes and work from the citizens of said country! They should fuck off to their countries of origin and bust their ass building their country the same way our grandparents built ours!

The US state destroys foreign economies, unilaterally uses its power to destroy another nations, backs insane ethnonationalist states abroad, and then doesn’t even have the decency to provide its OWN CITIZENS with healthcare. The entire thing is just one massive, vile experiment in hegemonic oligarchal white supremacy. There may have been a time it was serving the interests of humanity, but those days are long gone.

“America” as we understand it needs a massive, MASSIVE restructuring from the ground up. It should no longer exist to be the harvesting ground for a bunch of vile billionaires and Nazis to harvest wealth from the rest of the planet while giving nothing in return.

It needs a re-structuring where the state controls capital rather than capital controlling the state. Capital and private individuals naturally have shorter time horizons than states who have longer time horizions ie can invest in their own country and reap benefits in decades.

A deeper structural issue at play is financialization from which outgrew a financial elite who are then incentivised to speculate rather than produce, extract rather than create. No political solution will fix a non-political issue that is mostly a monetary one. As long as the value and buying power of money keeps eroding, we're chasing a phantom with politics.

Left vs right, culture wars, redistribution vs austerity are mainly symptoms. The core disease is money no longer being tethered to real value. That's why your below point about productivity gains not being seen. When companies can buy back their own stocks to inflate their assets, they don't need to invest in the ground workers of the company itself, or compensate them for the value that's been funneled to the top. Moneys made by moving money around in the financial domain, not earned or invested in reality where real value lies.

5 hours ago, Apparition of Jack said:

And who gets most of that value? Your average postman? Librarian? Nurse? Doctor?

Or does it all go to an increasingly small number of elites who have more money than God and the desire to control and dominate the world as they see fit? Productivity has been exploding in America for decades and yet even the most basic human fundamentals like housing and healthcare are increasingly out of reach for the vast majority of the population. What’s the point of being productive if you never get to see the fruits of that productivity?

4 hours ago, Apparition of Jack said:

America has way, WAY more than enough resources to provide all of that to whoever comes to its borders. America is so absurdly productive it would feasibly house a billion people and not even break a sweat.

The problem isn’t lack of resources, it’s where they’re distributed.

It doesn't have enough resources for its own people otherwise it would have a welfare system like Europe - which is also under pressure now. If it can't provide for its own people how can it provide for people coming in.

On the other hand it does have resources, but yet pretends it's broke every time it’s asked to share them - because those resources are held hostage by the financial elite - frankenstein vampires born from financialization.

In this sense, the US isn't actually sovereign. It's a host state and platform that elite interests work THROUGH, rather than under and in the service of. The solution isn't communism though, but elements of it. A hybrid system that is good at growing the pie via capitalist principles, but also sharing it via socialist principles. Getting state control back from capital is a whole other discussion.

That's just an anecdote that doesn't prove anything. I can give you an anecdote of my own. You know, in Russia these days, the Kremlin regime is suppressing immigration and pushing an anti-immigrant agenda. Our migrants are mostly coming from Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan etc). So I lived for a year and a half in Kazakhstan and travelled all over that country. And you know what? In my experience, it doesn't differ from Russia much, I mostly had positive experience. It's one of my favourite countries. I felt at home in Kazakhstan. The best cure against anti-immigrant bullshit is just visit their countries and spend some time over there

Maybe the US is broke. I don’t know. But a lot of that is just due to mismanagement of resources rather than an actual lack of financial / material capacity. If America can find the money to spend over a $1 Trillion of its Army, couldn’t it use that even just a fraction of that money investing in infrastructure, healthcare, etc?

It would be one thing if America had an equitable tax system and it was broke, it’s another thing entirely when most of the wealth is being funnelled to the top and yet it still refuses to fix its most glaring issues. We can’t keep exempting taxes our way to prosperity, especially for the massive, unaccountable corporations that, like you say, are only focused on quarterly profits and not long-term nation building.

EDIT: America should’ve spend the last 40 years heavily investing in education, healthcare, infrastructure, etc if it wanted to avoid social collapse. Instead we got the complete opposite, with less and less civic funding and more and more control to corporations who couldn’t give less of a fuck about the health, fertility or stability of the people in their society. It’s a spiritual sickness at its core; a delirious belief that profit alone will save us from death and that collective cooperation and nation building are… evil? Idk. It’s straight up Anti-Christ shit.

I think you have to look at every country separately and then see what works with immigration and what not. You can’t say immigration is good and you can’t say it’s bad. Depends if the country is willing to integrate the immigrants and also if the immigrants are willing to integrate into another society.

Hitler's brown shirts - armed street gangs - would deliberately force their way into areas where they were not welcome in order to provoke street fights, then claim that they were 'attacked' when the groups they were terrorizing defended themselves. Nazis - and their American equivalents - are nothing if not uncreative in their tactics.

Masked men who are refusing to identify themselves as law enforcement are kidnapping people off the streets. Without proper identification and due process we don't know who these people are or if the people they are trafficking are even in this country illegally. They could be Proud Boys in tactical gear bought off from Amazon for all we know.

If Trump wanted to enforce existing immigration laws more strictly, there are legal ways to do that which follow due process. Hell, Biden deported more people than Trump at this point in his presidency, and he didn't have any problem following the law. These raids aren't about enforcing immigration policy - they're state sponsored terror designed to clamp down on dissent, and create a manufactured pretext for invoking martial law.

Don't let anyone gaslight you that these tactics aren't strait out of the Nazi playbook.

Just because they’re not openly advocating for the extermination of Latinos or whatever (although go on Twitter and you’ll see countless accounts expressing that exact sentiment), doesn’t mean their worldview isn’t fundamentally baked in anti-human white supremacy. A Nazi who “only” wants to deport every black and brown person from America regardless of the human cost is still a Nazi, they don’t need the death camps and swastika logos to prove this.

A radical Islamist who calls for the death of the West and the final victory of Islam is still a radical Islamist, even if they don’t openly try to suicide bomb people (but then again they probably have obvious connections to groups who do.)

It’s a sinister game of deflect and deny and I’m honestly tired of pretending that illegal mass ethnic deportations are “ok” just because the people doing so aren’t also waging war on Poland or whatever.
