How's the book going for you?

Huang po is great but the idea of one mind is confusing. "One" appears in the limit, implies two. The unlimited is unlimited, not one. if the idea of one appears it's because you are operating between limits, so you are defining what can't be defined. Huang po say that it's not small, not existent or non existent, but then he say that it's void and it's one. Both ideas are misleading.

One is really Infinity (same as 0, or Nothingness)

Hard to express with numbers.

The ancients descended to the most primal cosmic oneness, the future humans will ascend to infinite consciousness.

Confusing. I've read Huang Po, and he doesn't explain things clearly. He uses words like emptiness and mind. It's a mistake. First, he says: it is neither existent nor nonexistent, neither this nor that, and then he says it is emptiness and it is mind.

Let's see, this guy is from the year 1100 and is a great mystic, but those mistakes are completely out of place; it's not precise. But since no one really knows what he's talking about, they think he's right. He's wrong. When he says that all reality is a single mind, he's limiting reality. Reality is limitlessness.

Reality is single mind, and is limitless.

Why it's a mind? What exactly is a mind?

The realization of One Mind is a sweet one. God is reality itself-you are who you are at all times for Infinity-

Welcome to life :D

Or everything. They why call it mind?

Definition of mind: represents the intricate network of cognitive, emotional and volitional faculties that provide human beings with the ability to interpret, interact and respond to the environment.

@Leo Gura I saw Peter Ralston answering someone's question. Disproving solipsism. Why you think this is? With all the work he's done. What do you think his insight into this nature?

I think what's happening here is the classical proplem of the limits of language.  Words like "nothing "or "mind" or whatever are in the end ..just words. And by definition they evoke a mental image in your mind ..it can't be otherwise. When you hear the word " nothing " you immediately get a picture in your mind about a void devoid of all sensory experience like deep sleep . Because the meaning of any word is something the mind imagines .and labels are just stickers we slap on top of objects to give ourselves the illusion that we actually know what a nothing is or what a mind is or what a tree is or what an apple is or what a bag of cut-off dicks is etc.

So drop the words and just return to ancient wisdom which says "the Tao that can be named isn't the real Tao".

"When you get very serious about truth you accept your life situation exactly as it is. So much so that you aren't childishly sitting around wishing it were otherwise. If you were confined to a wheelchair you would just accept it as how reality is. Just as you now just accept that you are not a bird who can fly."

-Leo Gura.

Yesterday waking from a nap, in the dream in waking, I had this moment where I saw the unified field of my own consciousness awareness and a feminine voice pointed it out to me like along the lines she said look you are the only unified field of awareness and there isn't anything outside it and I saw it and that was along her lines and I saw the unified field of that dream state for example as a bubble and the unified field of consciousness my my own awareness and that is the unified field and nothing else was actually outside it idk how accurate it is to real life but I actually had a mini lecture on this within a dream and saw it essentially pointed out to me - which is super rare but yesterday waking from the day nap I literally got an insight into this and what it looked like and she pointed it out to me the the unified field of consciousness is my own mind

Yeah I think the Absolute is more primal than mind.
