5 Meo as my first psychedelic?

@freddyteisen Going gradual is important in psychedelics, because there are thresholds of experience where the difference between a light dose and a medium dose seems like a different substance and so with medium to high doses. You'll enjoy more step by step.

Also as amazing as the full blast may be, don't concern yourself too much with it. Just walk your journey and let the substance and experience guide you. When you start tripping new doors open in yourself that require work, in my experience energy plays a big factor. That's usually the biggest bottleneck for consciousness when you take a psychedelic, so you may start experimenting with techniques that clean that dimension like kundalini yoga or vipassana meditation, particularly before tripping as they'll make the experience much more enjoyable and smooth.

I find LSD more difficult than 5-MeO.

5-MeO is clean. LSD is wonky and weird and if it goes sideways it's a 5hrs tunnel of misery. 5-MeO is simple and quick.

@freddyteisen 20-year-olds are already high on biology, there's no need at all to do any drugs not even weed.

There are risks to this, and the risks mean you never go back if psychedelics is not compatible with your body, so make sure you're aware of that before you make this decision.

The difference in biology is insane. I'm starting to think my experience on LSD/Mushrooms is your experience on 5-MeO. LSD is like having the best childhood experience relived for 12 hours straight and you're at Peak intelligence and in the most loving state, it's impossible anything could go wrong because you feel so overwhelmingly good. While 5-MeO = tunnel to hell.

Might be that my default state is naturally aligned with LSD and mushrooms, taking the substances increases my natural thinking process and coherence. While all these other substances will destabilize my mind and create incoherence.

On LSD my chess skill spikes through the roof, on weed and 5-MeO it plummets and I can barely figure anything out.

One thing for sure: you will never forget your first full 5-MEO-DMT breakthrough ever in your life. 
if you know, you know. 
I recommend asking the facilitator for a meditative dose for your first time. 
meditative doses give you a good feeling of what 5meo feels like without blasting you into infinity.

Really.

LSD has very strong effects and transports you to another planet, but it's actually euphoric and doesn't suppress the ego as some might think.

5 MeO is like jumping straight into ego loss, and it's the most anxiety-inducing feeling in the world.

At least for me, that's what it is.

You're absolutely correct, but I don't know how else to describe it using the English language then saying the “ego is dying”. Yes in a sense there is no ego dying since it was no ego to begin with, only the fluidity of consciousness. I had a very deep trip on shrooms a year ago, but I find it hard to describe in words. That is just the limitation of using the human language.

I don't relate at all with many 5meo experiences people are sharing in this thread. For me it's pure consciousness, divinity and Infinity.

I never had a "bad" experience; even in the high dose range it was mildly uncomfortable for the body but even those momentary sensations were just a grain of sand in the infinite landscape of my mind. My consciousness clicks so nicely with the compound. This really makes me reflect. Maybe it's all about finding that one psychedelic that works for you.

For me 5meo is the straighest way to Infinity and God.

The point of psychedelics is to recontextualize what’s in front of you, and to raise your state of consciousness, so that all of your thoughts perspective ideas are boosted, and you could contemplate deeper than you normally would.

When you look in the mirror, it’s self evident that you’re looking at yourself but on the right psychedelic when you look at what’s right in front of you, it becomes self evident that you’re looking at God. Just like someone would become self-aware of their own reflection you can become self-aware that your God. The reason you can’t do that normally is because you’re not conscious enough, in the same way A donkey cannot recognize itself in the mirror because the donkey is not conscious enough. But if you gave the donkey psychedelics, it might reach a high enough state of consciousness that it becomes self-aware (omg The mirror is reflecting me! = realization\ epiphany). A human is conscious enough to know that when they look in the mirror, they’re looking at themselves, but they’re not conscious enough to know that when they look at literally anything that they’re looking at themselves and that their God.

And beyond this, there’s deeper levels of awakening and Leo goes on and on about

I actually took 750ug once to see what's going to happen 😂

I didn't feel good during the come up so i put myself in"fetal position" and i "woke up" in the offset after a kind of blackout.
