Crazy how Brazil, a country that was a military dictatorship at one point, has now become something that the US can envy. Bolsonaro, the Donald Trump of Brazil, attempted his own version of Jan 6 and is now serving a 27 year sentence for it. Now personally, there should probably be more than 27 years for attempting a coup to overthrow democracy, but it certainly beats being allowed to run again.
