Latest post about realism reminds me of this story. I have a relative who claims they can talk to ravens and that they frequently did so during childhood. It's not that I am not prepared to be open minded to them being able to talk to ravens, even though its to me unrealistic, but its just more probable that it's some imaginary friend type shit (they are autistic if it matters). They've made other claims about talking with ghosts and shit too on ocassion. How serious should you take claims like this? My instinct is to go just like "yeah whatever".

Nothing to complain. Sometimes I miss the videos because reading takes more tome for me since I cant put at 2X velocity. But I read almost everything. Follow the blog is not for the faint of heart since is always something that demands contemplation.

Simple, i like it.  I would love it more if you took the insights and deconstruct some sensory situation or thing like you do for the YT video breakdown, that helps me get the ah ha moment easier. Funnily I find it wayyy more easy to listen to you, I'm an auditory learner so reading I have to sit down and go through sentence by sentence to get what you are saying

@Leo Gura I find them clear and easy to read. You are a good writer.  Of course it can get a bit technical sometimes, but thats the content.

Sometimes I'll zone out while reading them but maybe that's just me.

When I do reread them though I find it very easy and clear to read and the humor you inject into your blog posts makes them even better. I thought the line about driving you car off a bridge was funny AF @Leo Gura

That's the crux of epistemology. We don't really know how seriously to take it. There is potential for error in both directions because we just don't know.

Epistemic perverts will exploit our openmindedness and charity to push their bullshit on us. That's what makes openmindedness so challenging. Goodness will be exploited by devils. Nevertheless we must stick to being Good, or become devils ourselves, which is unacceptable.
