But I definitely 100% recommend you read Capital, and from that specific link. Its absolutely worth your time and will immensely boost your understanding of commodity production and how does a commodity get its value.

I plan to read a different book from Marx.

Found this one interesting. A conservative christian version of  those mormons and mennonites from those docs Leo shared on his blog. These are the Bruderhof in the UK. One scene they are all 300 people eating together in a mess hall reminds me of bees. They look just like unconcious NPC's going about their collective survival. Well maybe that's too generous... that's exactly what they are doing!

@Leo Gura Thank you for your breakdown on the epsiode Natasha shared. I watched it last weekend. I have lived with such rational parents, family & school system my entire young life. The very reason I started pursuing spirituality was because at the back of my mind the thought and knowing was always there:

This can't be all there is to reality. No way!

And then you would look up at the night sky and think to yourself and Intuit:

What the fuck is going on here? WTF is reality? No f****g way those explanations I've been given explain my experience...something much bigger is going on here...

When I originally came across it, I thought she was a good example for the deconstructing rationality series. While she pokes some series holes in channelling in the video, she has some huge drawbacks in the base assumptions she works from that lead to many of her questions failing due to poor framing. She alos has a serious bias toward explaining everything from a psychological lense. She is so allergic to religion from being an ex Mormon, she has ended up nestled so far up the arsehole of rationality she has looped into a weird failure mode of endless lack of closure. Unless of course it's a psychological analysis - then it's all explained neatly! 

Brit is a fantastic case of deep, deep self deception. But very sophisticated in that deception. The more interesting ones are the sophisticated thinkers as the steel trap of the mind is so elaborate and well crafted. SNAP
