It's strange going deep in the work, tasting radical states of consciousness and also being in the thick of survival. Ego backlashes and homeostasis pull, but like a strong storm, you can breakthrough and rekindle that fire.

This is so trippy. Regarding your "What if reality is ONE way" post, I had the exact same thought and insight the same day as you did. This is some cosmic calendar level shit.

God is truly only one way, and that way led us to this specific insight. Crazzyyy

@Carl-Richard watch out for @Jirh and those pitchforks :P

The content of this post should be at the beginning of every actualized.org video:

https://www.actualized.org/insights/actualized-quotes-683

It sets the context for why leo speaks how he does.

Because many people still operate from the old "modern philosophy" paradigm where they think if something is true, it has to have evidence and we should clearly agree that's it's true. It's assuming that everything that's not proven can't be taken seriously.

That was my experience when i first discovered Leo's videos, i always went "yeah, but how can you prove it?"

also, why isn't there a "how truth works" video? not, what is truth, but what are it's mechanisms and what are some wrong assumptions about how truth works, and what's right...

Because that's not easy to answer.

How about a version where you deconstruct some aspects of truth like you did with Evidence, argument and rigour?

@Leo Gura What are some cutting edge questions for you right now regarding God/Reality? What you’re currently trying to get a handle on.

Your topic is a good one. I just need to think about it very deeply. I don't have a good answer to it off the top of my head. It requires contemplation.

That's hard to answer comprehensively.

One of them is:

How to achieve psychedelic-levels of consciousness without psychedelics.

You are God. You are Truth. You are Love. You are Infinity.

Do you think that's even possible and worth exploring?

What can be some of the ways that isn't yet known to us? So not yoga, not meditation, not breathwork, but something new?

I understand we might not have answer to that yet, but still.

It's worth exploring, but at this point I don't see how.

Leo, i have a question for you. did you manage to conquer suffering?

after all the work that you did, do you think that work made you suffer less or more? Generally speaking in your day to day life without the use of any psychedelics.

do you suffer more than most people or less ? Did you conquer your suffering ?

i ask this question because just after deciding I want to live a more authentic like and face the truth I realised that I’m suffering more than people who didn’t choose that. I don’t truly know if I suffer more than this people, but they don’t have demons as deep as me when I tried to face the truth.

so is this work beyond suffering or it makes you suffer a lil bit more than the average person, what do you think ?

Nope. Not even close.

It's a complex issue because in some ways I suffer more, in others less. There is a lot of suffering I avoid simply because I never even create it. However, there is definitely a unique kind of suffering that comes from self-improvement and truth-seeking.

Of course being Good comes with suffering. And not just a little suffering, A LOT of suffering. Because you have to burn away all the corruption and ego in you. That's why most people are not Good.

I have never liked the framing that spirituality will make you immune to suffering. I don't find that to be true at all. As long as you are alive, you will suffer. And truth brings its own kind of suffering that people who don't care about truth will never know.

Also, most of my suffering comes from health problems, which get worse with age. So I was happier in the past, but that's age and health related.

You could lose your health any day and become very unhappy. Spirituality is not a get-out-of-jail-free card.

Nice man! You touched on some great points. I think a lot of people associate spirituality with heaven Lol. But I think if you are good with breathing techniques you can calm your nervous system, thus reducing your suffering, Lol.

but I like how honest you were when you said “not even close”. Cheers!

but the thing with this work is I think you don’t choose it, it chooses you. I can’t just turn a blind eye on all the ego selfish shit I do and just get away with it. Consciousness comes with cost.

but thanks man, i appreciate your honesty.

@Nick_98 You could use hardcore spirituality to become a lot more immune to suffering, but that spiritual process itself will involve a lot of suffering.

Spiritual practice is like investment. You suffer now so you can suffer less later. But not every investment pays off. The cure could be worse than the disease. Depends on how bad your life was starting out.

@Leo Gura sorry this is off topic but I tried emailing you for an interview/podcast on my channel and it didn't manage to send. There are no limits to how deep we can get in our discussion of God, psychedelics, mysticism, the scientific paradigm etc. I feel we are both coming at all this from a similar angle and I have had profound awakenings myself that will allow me to channel your insights better than previous podcast appearances you have been on. Let me know how to contact you to arrange a date. My audience is very interested in having you on.
