  1. Yes, if you want a family and kids, having money is a no brainer, practically speaking. But this isnt what the thread is about. This thread is about respect and how women treat you in long term relationships when you're not financially well off. OP is claiming that money is needed for a woman to respect her man in a long term relationship and that is absolutely false. Think of all the cliche stories (cliche cause they're true) of rich guys dating women who only use them for their money while secretly being emotionally committed to some broke guy living in the ghetto who she would do anything for. Come on, man. Wake the fuck up, guys. All you have to do is literally go for a walk and start noticing the wide variety of men, from all backgrounds and classes, being in long tern relationships with beautiful women.
  2. A woman who is genuinely attracted to you wouldn't even ask you such a question in a qualifying manner. Dude, listen, you're wrong. I'm saying this from love. I know from first hand experience that your worldview is wrong. I've dated women who worked within government, scientists, dentists, girls who have a lot of status in my city for being prevalent figures in the local dance/creative/fashion scene, etc. All of these women treated me like a king. They did things for me that they wouldn't do for other men by their own admission. The government girl told me on the first date that she finds calling men "daddy" super cringe and that she is a very vanilla type of girl. Guess who was doing the exact opposite things with me 3 months later. Note: I was even unemployed when I was with the government girl Had a girl who told me that usually she doesn't care about being a little indecent in front of men (farting, burping, etc) but she felt apprehensive about being that way with me. I've even dated a known gold digger in my city. She's the type that only goes on dates with rich dudes, or so she appears to do so. This girl was hardcore flirting with me for weeks even though she knew I didnt have any real money or status. That situation was short-lived, I admit, cause her value system was repulsive to me. I have so many more examples. What matters is how you carry yourself as a man. It's the way you handle the dynamic within the relationship. The dominance, your strength, your ability to connect with her deeply as a woman. If you're showing up correctly as a self respecting man, then that's all the respect that you need. In fact, most women that I know, make fun of men who use their resources as their main pull in relationships and often just use them for their money since they don't respect them. Now, here's the thing.. I'm not saying money is bad. Money absolutely is important in life and in relationships and one should definitely strive to get their finances handled. Especially if you're planning on having a family one day. But a high income and financial dependency is NOT needed for a woman to respect you and treat you well.
  3. Uh no. I'm 27 years old. Stop coming up with excuses dude. You can have those experiences too. Why are you choosing to be a victim?
  4. Speak for yourself. I've been a below average earner for all of my life and I've dated a lot of gorgeous women in my life, a lot of them making way more than I did, and who treated me like a king. And no, I'm not particularly good looking either. I'm decent but nothing to write home about. Stop making excuses as to why you suck with women and accept that you just suck. Swallow that bitter pill and go out, talk to women, get rejected, learn from your failures and improve little by little over the span of years until you reach a point of being in so much abundance with women that it makrs you depressed. That's what I did.
  5. @Leo Gura Integrated doesnt mean good. A man can love himself to an almost narcissistic self serving way and that confidence will attract a specific subset of women. You attract what you are, of course, so they're both going to be extremely dysfunctional together, but it still proves my point. Assuming you want a high quality partner then you're gonna have to integrate your being in a healthy, ever loving way to attract a quality girl.
  6. You're right. Saying that women are attracted to masculine men is like saying that men are attracted to big tits. Yeah, generally speaking that is true but it's just one piece if the pie. What women are actually attracted are integrated men. Men who love all aspects of themselves and are living in alignment with who they really are without shame or compromising their values out of neediness. I know feminine men who are really good with women because they are brave enough to own their feminine traits and move through the world with an underlying sense of power. You look at them and instantly think "that guys is awesome" just by the energy of love they exhude within themselves and onto others. I also know very masculine men that are like that and everything in between. When you develop self love, a love for life, a love for play and socialisation, then you naturally behave in "high value" ways; You dont supplicate, you set boundaries, you express your genuine emotions, you're vulnerable, polarizing, own your sexuality, are strong in your stances and have a naturally playful relationship with the world and women.

  8. To be fully aligned with my highest self, be rid of judgement and have a lifestyle that is fully of my own design.
  9. @Miguel1 Hey man, I actually started the thread you posted and read all the replies. I appreciate your input!
  10. Very powerful perspective here. I really appreciate you @Emerald for being willing to engage with the men here looking for dating advice as a lot of men who are beginning this journey might have misguided views on dating and women - propagated by pickup gurus and redpill shit. As I've developed myself in pickup and dating (10 years in) I've reached this point above where I very often find myself in intimate situations with women yet I genuinely don't feel excited at the opportunity of sealing the deal. This is a result of my extensive casual dating experience which has made me numb to the concept of hooking up unless I truly feel engaged with the woman emotionally and intellectually. However, there's this constant struggle that I feel within. A conflict between my pickup conditioning and this new version of me. Pickup says: "Close the deal! Escalate! You might never see this girl again! Seize the opportunity! If you don't, she'll think you're a pussy and not interested." But then my higher self says: "Eh, i dont really feel like escalating though. Why would I? What has she done to merit that? I dont even know whether I truly like her yet, etc." This typically results in me going through the motions of escalation where it is clear that I'm not really into it and instead performing robotically which is the worst way to go about it. Other times, I just decide to sit back and only go for it when it feels right for me, although this happens the minority of times, to be honest. I want to reach a point in my life where Im fully operating from this aligned space instead of pickup conditioning. I've been in this shit long enough and had enough success in it that if I have yet another "success" it means nothing unless it is aligned to a higher purpose, so I'm still working on finally letting it go.
  11. Lack of empathy, remorse, guilt. Shallow emotions, manipulative behaviour and a life centered around ego gratification and status. Can a psychopath achieve the realization of the highest value of truth/love?
  12. You're already coming at it from the wrong frame. Dating is about chemistry and connection. This date is not a test of your "game" or your manhood or masculinity. You're already enough as is. Going on dates is an opportunity for you to relax, have fun, be playful, flirt, share who you are with the girl infront of you (warts and all) and if she vibes with what you're putting down then lead it towards whatever outcome you have in mind while making sure to maintain a dynamic of respect by not coming off as needy and also maintaining your boundaries in case she tests your frame. Have fun, chap!
  13. Ever since I realized solipsism, last friday, I've had this very heavy feeling within my body. At first I thought it was an emotional wound that got triggered somehow and tried to meditate and release it with little success. What I eventually realized after a lot of introspection is that, while I was initially excited to have peered beneath the veil of reality last Friday, I now am dealing with the consequences of that and they're not very pretty. So, if reality is merely a projection of my own mind, in which I have full unconscious control of, then that means that everything that I experience is a "simulation" of my mind. Therefore my friends, my family, my routine, my hopes and dreams, my whole identity is an illusion. Not "real." It makes my everyday experience meaningless but also very meaningful in its subtlety. For example, while I was contemplating these new insights and feeling completely defeated in front of the grant repercussions of this insight, my best friend randomly sent me a message telling me that he's feeling very sad and that he is going for a walk as that always seems to cheer him up. Very random message considering he lives in a different country so it's not like him saying that could be taken as him inviting me to join. It almost, I dare say, felt like my mind giving advice to itself. And i took it and it did feel somewhat better. Anyway, I have questions. What proof is there that there isnt a physical world out there? I mean, yes, the entire world is a projection of our mind since our mind *could* be interpreting a physical world for us to navigate within our mind. Fuck, but then how can I explain how I could literally manipulate reality with my certainty? Ok, i have more thinking to do. I feel like my ego is grasping at straws now. Thank you for reading.
  14. I've done it. Not worth it. Art is something you can develop yourself. You dont need a degree for it. The level of skill you possess is self evident by the merit of your art. Hear me well, and get you a degree that guarantees you a job and some kind of financial cushion (bonus points if you're interested in it) and then pursue your more creative goals on the side. You will thank me!
  15. What a mind trip. I've been aware of Leo's teachings on this subject for a while now and while I understood it on a logical level, I truly wanted to experience it for myself. Yesterday, I tried some weed edibles. I swore off psychedelics for a while ever since a really bad trip I had a year ago, but I've been using edible weed as an aid to my self reflection and inquiry work and it's been working great for me. Lots of insights into my behaviour, insecurities and ways of being. However, yesterday, the edibles hit me way stronger than I anticipated. I was GONE. My mind was twisting in all these weird ways, I would panic then calm down then panic again. I was experiencing massive anxious ups and downs as well as intense feelings of "Shit, man, Im high as FUCK" Anyway, to cut to the chase, there came a moment when I put on Leos forgiveness video as a way to move away from feeling anxious towards a more intentful way of being, such as forgiving people who have hurt me. While trying to watch the video, my whole visual field felt like it was losing pixels. Like shit went from 1080p to 240p and Im consciously trying my best to mentally increase the quality of my mental field. In the process of doing so, instead of achieving influence over my visual field, I ended up popping out of the character that is me. It felt surreal. Almost like when you're playing a video game while sitting super close to the screen, thus being super immersed in it, but then your eyes hurt and you decide to take a step back and realize that you're in a room playing the video game rather than you being in the video game. It felt like that on an emotional level, where all of a sudden my entire visual field felt like a flat screen that I was fully immersed in rather than something that exists outside of me and where I exist within. I wouldn't say i experienced non duality or even God. But I truly came to see that all I'm seeing is really all there is because I'm literally the reality around me. Im not a human nor anything separate from my environment, but actually I am the environment itself. I am all that there is. And then, the most mindblowing thing happened. I actually begun to be aware of the fact that not only am I being but actually I'm literally actualizing the reality that I'm experiencing myself, second by second, minute by minute. Basically, what I came to realize was that every moment that I was experiencing, I was creating with my certainty. Meaning that I could literally impact what I was experiencing based on how much I believed it to be true. So if I wanted to be on Mars right now, I could if I believed it was true right now. So it cant be that Im wishing to be on Mars and then bend reality to make it happen. No. Its more like, the moment I REALIZE the truth that I am on Mars right now - not as a belief or conviction, but as straight up FACT - then i am on Mars. In other words, I am creating the reality that im experiencing because I believe it to be true. Everything 'outside' of me is me because I am the experience. There is no other or me or anything. I am the experience and there's nothing else besides that. Funny enough, that realization brings me peace. I thought it would be this super scary thing, but I feel present than ever as a result of it. The present experience is all there is and any additional labels and narratives I place on it is merely a story that Im creating for it. Insane.
