  1. bewere Leo, someone in Trump's team might be monitoring the forum
  2. It's so stupid that for some reasons it never happened to me to connect these two exact dots. That's why conservative are more prone to incoherence, lack of research, and are ok with ignoring all the misbehaviours and darkspots of their leaders (or prophets) if it means supporting the over-arching concepts they blindly adhere to. What's important is having faith in the Saviour (the president, PM, candidate) and resist the Devil (Wokism, Progressivism etc.) and everithing will be allright. That means all the healhy and practical Conservative treats get shunned in favour of an internal moral reassurance that has little to do with making day-to-day life better for the most poeple. And of course, it's a vicious circle: Dogmatic framework influences the way they engage with politics and the way they interpret religious teaching is filtered through their political views. Obviously, one could make the case that Leftist extimists treat their political beliefs as a religion aswell, and I would agree to some extent, there is certainly some overlap, but in their case their worship disincarnate, often unapplicable Ideals, while conservatives lean more on projecting their beliefs on a physical individual.
  3. @Oeaohoo Didn't know of this lil chant. Ty for make me notice.
  4. Retire in meditation and pray for the well-being of every human being. Search "loving-kindness meditation", if you wanna know more. Also, remember this is all a dream. It'll pass. As brutal as it looks.
  5. @LoneWonderer yep. it still kills me that sometimes we have to wait 3 years to get a new season but in the case Severance i'm all for waiting if that's the only way to keep the quality is this good. From somehow maneged to be yearly bu it's one of those for which i would't mind waiting aswell.
  6. Just came here to see if there was a post about it already. What can i say now that S1 has ended: the concept is new, the story telling is perfect and even though it's completelely different from BB and BCS you can still recognize Gilligan's mind behind it. The show really gave me Actualized.org vibes in many points. One of the few recent shows that haven't made me feel like I was wasting my time (the other two as of now are Severance and From). @Leo Gura please watch it!
  7. @Franz_ As i've said i went past that realization. How to do it? Even just seriously concetrating on your breath (the sensations that you experience coused by the attrition of air with your body, expecially at the nostrils) can give you deep insights. Start with 10 min., build up to 1h. Once you gain enough concentration, you'll start to experiences vibrations, shackings, lights, change of temperature, maybe have visions, genuine insights even. I recommend the book The Mind Illuminated. Once you lay down the breath you can start to do more complex exercises. mayby experiment with psychedelics too. It is very important to to work on your survival (Shelter, Health, Work, Realtionships etc.) while you explore Spirituality. Expand your knowledge of an intellectual level too. Explore and read about every school of thought and their practices. Watch Leo's videos. he has made a video for almost every topic related to Spirituality and personal developement.
  8. @Franz_ i was 20 or something, laying on bed. At a certain point, and it was like the limits of my body ceased to be real. They where still there, untouched, I was still there, on the bed, but i suddenly felt like a silent infinite void, i was hollow, yet still full of all the things that made up my identity. It was as if a charachter in a videogame realized it was made of colored dots and appearing on a screen. Experience felt like the symmetric crumbling of a perfect mandala made of a billions of grains. Everything fell but flowed the same at the same time. Objects felt like holograms. Then i knew that this experience is infinite and eternal, no metter who's in charge. My conception of reality changed that day. It evolved much since then, but at the time it was a very cool, yet quiet realization for me.
  9. Well, that's a big L for Netanuahu and his gov. And a big L for Hamas too, since i'm reading that they are accepting a disarmament. Really hard to predict if they're both gonna be sticking to the peace plan.
  10. New I See Stars album is good. It's not New Demons...but it's good.
  11. @Leo Gura shit, i skipped the first line of the OP, and i'm new to Him. Won't happen again. @theoneandnone Cultivating a healhy, normal life is essential for approaching spirituality. Your psychological well being needs to be as on point as possible, then you will realise that many fo the "existential fixations" you had will have disappared on their own. Many of our "spiritual problems" are actually a cover for day-to-day life problems.
  12. Guys, unironically, can someone prease help me understand how did we get from "Hamas needs to be erased" to "positive climate around USA-Israel-hamas negotiaitions"?
  13. @theoneandnone Dude, just develop a good meditation practice and if you can, make time for a retreat. For now, take 2 hours of your time and, dedicate the first hour to following the breath. the second to some technique like Noting or Scanning od Do Nothing. I garantee you are going to experience incredible things if you stick to it for even just a few days. You can certainly experience feeling like dying or being dead already during meditation, but the point is: You shoud not force it. These experiences are a byproduct of good practice, and should not be the goal.
  14. @HojoWhatever you are experiencing right now is objective reality. There isn't anything under the rug unless you lift it. And whatever you find under it's not gonna be anymore real then the rug itself. You are a metaphysical entity as mush as you are a body.
