No one ever would want to go for it willingly probably. :D

Yea definitely..one has to be in that state for it.  Takes a lot of work to get there even.

Lahiri Mahasaya had done it, Paramahansa Yogananda has done it and I have read somewhere Paramahamsa Hariharananda has done it They have set a prior date to the event and have achieved total Mahasamadhi infront of an audience too.

Sadhguru's wife has done the same too.

  2. This for me has been the best technique for deeper sitting. It's Heart rate variability and is best placed before any meditation avenue.

Heart rate variability is just lowering heart rate which has a calming effect on body and mellowed thoughts and feeling.

Gets me comfortable and easy with in myself for meditation.

@Pacific Sage Hey hey. Do you know any specific sun-gazing techniques and where did you get them from?

I heard people talking that one has to gaze at a specific angle, turning the head, or the eyeball, something in those lines.

Hey hey!! Umm so what I do is when I stare at the sun I kind of look at the sun with my right eye and use my left eye for peripheral vision. Kind of gives a beautiful vision.

Science behind it is that the left brain connected to the right eye, is used for focus and the right brain connected to the left eye is for peripheral vision.

This is my ritual. I don't have any angles or turning ? but hey do let me know if you find any interesting point of view on this, am willing to try :)

  4. Yes I like my eyes too, thanks for that but I only do it 45 mins after local sunrise time and 45 mins before local sunset time.

    @Adodd

What's helped for deeper meditation is heart rate variability where you exhale longer than inhale duration which lowers heart beat and that is the key. Check out Heart rate variability video on YouTube from Forrest Knutson. This has been extremely helpful to me.

  5. Yes it is both physical and spiritual.

Cutting out fluoride and chlorine intake is the first step. It's possible it's present in municipal water and it's present in most tooth pastes.

Other actions to take to decalcify pineal gland -

    • Sun gaze
    • Meditation (focusing at the point between your eyebrows)
    • Tamarind Juice

These the detoxification steps. If you ask me id say it's quite important to do it.

So..... the video is not toxic garbage?

    Just checking.

oh wait! maybe the subway and the last part might have been lil overboard.

I thought the entire point was that she would climb the stair of success faster if she was a man or she wouldnt be judged so harshly if she was a man. I just couldnt make of the Subway and the last part. Maybe someone else here has a better perspective.

  7. I don't mind :)

I wanted to see what you see that's why I'd tried to get specific but that's alright.

What you see in the video is pretty much portrayed everywhere else, and in her view if the same was done by a woman she feels it'd be perceived different is all.

Don't think she's dissing men in general but the perception of how women are perceived if they acted different to the norms.

It's the same old projection of ones own personal shit onto an entire gender.

Okay I hear you. There's a lot going on in the music video so could you help me in understanding you? -which parts specifically did you have a problem with? What old projections of hers ?

So we can understand each other and gain some common ground. The world's greatest dad didn get my vote as I couldn't connect with it.

  9. If you'd really like to know her perspective of why she feels the way she does, her Netflix special Miss Americana shows some depth.

Place a woman in all the parts of the video where Taylor is a man and you'd see how you would judge more if it were a woman.

I did not feel it was a man basher. I think all she meant was if a woman was doing the same, don't be partial.

  10. Talking on perspectives, it's interesting to note that the Japanese hear the call of the cat as 'Nyan' and the rest hear it as 'Meow'.

Upon careful examination of the call of the cat one can realize that both are right .
