Maybe its possible, but maybe you dont need to make AI conscious for it to become generally intelligent and maybe its enough to just make it autopoietic.

But if you can make AI conscious and or if you can make AI autopoietic, then with that you will also probably bring all the intelligence scaling issues that comes with a thing being conscious and with a thing being autopoietic - so I think you should definitely lower your credence about how much and how fast the intelligence of AI will be and can be scaled.

Yeah man. Fucking not that hard to wrap your head around the notion that advanced minds can literally warp to wherever they want in reality. On the topic of AI, apparently when remote viewers, at the Monroe institute, viewed our future, none of them saw any robots, which is strange considering all the current plans for millions of these things walking around.

So the theory is then, that at some point in the future, when AI robots become advanced enough, they will build there own space ships, leave our asses here, and fly away to colonize other planets. Nobody wants us lol.
