What Would You Do?

8 posts in this topic

Imagine either one of these two scenarios:
1) You are terminally ill of cancer and are about to die in weeks to months.
2) Someone or some group has caught you and is going to kill you in the next hours or days.

What would you do if you find yourself in both or one of these scenarios?

I choose 1

1) Meditate in the park

2) Meditate in the park and tell them I am them while they are cutting my throat.

I don't know what I know, but I know that I know.

@Emerald Wilkins yaaaas girl. Super honest I love you!

@Toby both scenarios. So id prolly freak out. However I would try to find the underlying pattern that got me into the situation and that should be the best way for resolution.

@Emerald Wilkins You have a great intellect, it will be very difficult for you to become a mystic !

Thank you for the compliment-ish words. :) But yes, it's very difficult for me to let go of my intellectualizations. The only time I ever felt satisfied with what I knew and didn't experience the constant thirst to figure things out or seek new knowledge was during my experiences of ego-transcendence. It was only then that I already knew everything, simultaneously didn't care about knowing everything, and felt no urge to seek more knowledge or understanding. Otherwise, it's been a constant craving to feed my intellect.

Are you struggling with self-sabotage and CONSTANTLY standing in the way of your own success?

@Toby

1st situation :

I'd make a huge bucket list of things I wanted to do in my life and that I didn't do for some reason or those that I put off for the future. So I wouldn't care for the future, I will try to have maximum fun and have as much fun as I can within the short span of time before I die.

2nd situation

I believe in the power of prayer so I'll pray  hard. I'll try to stay positive and imagine and dream that things are working out and they'll have mercy on my soul and set me free.

When they bring the  knife closer and I realize nothing works out I will utter these words before they finish me, " Kill me bastards. Fuck off.  I don't care. But remember Karma's a bitch, she will come back to bite you in the ass so I kiss you goodbye."
