Looks like we’re getting a new Deftones record.

The first single sounds promising, and Chino clearly still has it, although I don’t know why they’ve decided to bury his voice so deep in the mix.

In the midst of all the growling and screaming in metal, he’s always had a beautiful voice and been a genuinely great singer, weaving that signature, seductive hiss and whisper into something every bit as intense and sinister.
