Why was Joseph Maynor banned? I remember him from the early days, as I was only a reader. Wasn't that the dude who wanted to do philosophy as a LP.

I started to summarize the content and I'm now at  page 4. Is that even helpful? Please comment. If people said basically the same I collected them under a single point.

1. Content Improvement
    a. Youtube
        - more basic helf help content, how to get laid series but about business, health and videos for youngsters @Ash55 @Ayham @Majed7 @How to be wise
        - More stage orange stuff or basics self-help stuff and uploading these vids more frequently.  @ShardMare
        - videos like "making sense of jordan peterson" but on other interesting figures or phenomenon in society, basically a "making sense of" series like for example making sense of women, the evolution of technology, climate change, incels, sadhguru, etc... @Majed
        - a second video on jordan peterson would be appreciated @Majed
        - Videos of Leo debating @Juan
        - Less "bully teaching". There were several times when I just turned off an episode because I didn't feel like listening to a guy raging about random bs and degrading his listeners  @Godhead
        - Shorter, better-structured content. A good idea gets lost in 3 hours of examples and stories imo @Godhead
        -Q&A's @DefinitelyNotARo
    b. Blog
        - Improve Blog Quality @Someone here
        - A new Function to sort blog posts by tags and categories @Something Funny @mmKay @DefinitelyNotARo
    c. Courses
        - More Courses, for example: How to use Psychedelics for spiritual growth, Ho0w to reach stage Yellow & Turquoise thinking, Leadership / Healthy masculinity @Staples
    d. Misc
        - use less loaded terms like left/right or invent new ones @A_v_E

2. Forum Improvement
    a. Functions
        - "Leo" in forum topic titles. Banning the use of the phrase "I became enlightened" or the like in titles @LastThursday
        - A Discord server / live chat where people can speak in real time @Raptorsin7 @KH2  @Cat_eyes @thepixelmonk
        - Have all the featured posts and mega-threads in one place so they are easily accessible @Tristan12 @DefinitelyNotARo
        - an official thread for each video.@StarStruck
        - If you choose to ignore/block someone you shouldn’t see them at all, like when you block someone on Facebook.  It’s silly that you can still see the name and make comments visible.   @Cat_eyes @blueberries @Jannes
        - a new dating section  @Eyowey
        - highlight more high-quality posts and debates, all these no fap, Andrew Tate, incel controversial threads get way too much attention    @Godhead
        - A new Book club @Godhead
        - Karma system? +points for helpful advice and posts, -points for nonsense. @Edvardas @blueberries @Kshantivadin @
        - Email notifications for new blog posts. @martins name
        - Higher enforcement and slightly higher embodiment of politeness @John Paul
        - Fine, add a new button that allows people to click on if they think the post was written with kindness for others or not.  @John Paul

    b. Rules
        - Leo Gura could be more polite and stop insulting people @Someone here @Ayham @Jake Chambers
        - There should be a commission for mods, so that they don't misuse their power @StarStruck
        - Stop Gossip @Tyler Robinson @LastThursday
        - A better way to handle user complaints @Tyler Robinson
        - limit messages posted from members to 10 maximum per 24 hours.@A_v_E

    c. Design
        - Dark Mode @Extreme Z7 @A_v_E @DefinitelyNotARo
        - Update the Website generally to make it more modern, quicker and may introduce new emojis to the forum @Someone here @Cat_eyes @decentralized

I sort of like the thread for each video idea, but it’s also nice of it’s organic.

- More inspirational/motivational videos. I know there are many of them on YouTube, but yours are often deeper and just better.

- In general, I love when you talk about positive stuff. You should make more videos about beauty, wisdom, love, self-love, higher energies.

- More “step by step” videos.

For example, how to move from stage orange, to green, to yellow; explaining practical steps based on different starting conditions.

For example:

- steps to take if you struggle with finances

- steps to take if you have a good income but are not yet “financially free”

- steps to take if you are rich

That could be done through a video course too, instead of just YouTube.

Good old motivational speech once a year please :)

It could have a tone of the current theme of Actualized.org.

New moderator: chatgpt bot.

The threadmaker should be trained to be bot friendly and asks questions with a marker at the end of his Post so that the bot can recognize this part and can answer this. If he wants an answer from bot of course

Making an Actualized.org app is like the worst idea in my opinion. It will be very buggy, slow and loaded. It will become a joke.

The website itself slows down often. Making an app will totally ruin it.

It's just good as it is.

That would mainly depend on the developers who would make the app. If they know what they're doing, there wouldn't be that many bugs, and if there would be any bugs, they would be able to fix them easily.

The website slowness is probably a server issue which would have the same effect on a mobile or a desktop app. The server probably needs an upgrade or something, and this will probably cost Leo some more money on a monthly rate.

Actually maintaining an app also needs money. No? Research on that next time.

Maintaining an app is not cheap at all. Developers demand a ton of money for that.

And now please don't suggest some member should do this for free. Generally freelance app work is shitty in quality.

Plus this website is being maintained by Invision  community that maintains ethical guidelines and standards necessary for forum that I won't talk about in much detail because it goes against confidential privacy rules.

The same cannot be said of some low pay  grade random app developers.

Many apps have actually gone to shit due to breaking App framework guidelines. Look at the complaints Google play store receives - a million.

The surest way of totally destroying this website is to make an app. You have little idea.

Leo already knows about the app market - he knows its prone to unethical business, that's why he doesn't do it.

@Tyler Robinson It wouldn't need maintenance beyond the initial release and developer support. It's just a simple forum app, not a super complex corporate app like Facebook or something.

That's just a joke. Every app needs a lot of maintenance. Even simple apps. And like I said there's an ethics issue. Why and how would you trust an app developer? How do you know they won't break privacy guidelines for their own personal purposes?

App developers are notoriously known for scamming people/clients.

Some amateur devs might be like that, but most professionals are wise enough to not risk their reputation. I'm a professional web developer but I'm still junior to mid-level. I could create a similar forum on the web with a similar functionality, but it would take me more time and I will likely make more mistakes than an expert/senior developer, so there will likely be more bugs in my production and they will be harder to fix and the site will be generally harder to debug, update, and add features to. But that would not make me a scam, just not the best in the market of web devs, yet of course.

Guess what, great apps are still being made constantly, and will continue to be made.

Only by trusted companies that charge a heft. That's the whole point.

I'm a professional web developer

Whats the guarantee of your profession? If I want to hire your service, why should I trust you? Anyway I can know if I can trust you other than actually risking my trust?

I've been approached by many devs who talked about hacking for a minimum fee and I said a big NO.

Leo works on high integrity. The last thing he would want is someone who breaks the very foundation of his organization - integrity.

Mainly the company that I work for. And/or if I'm on some freelancing site, the admins of the site.

Random devs are risky. There are no guarantees.
