Has anyone watched this??? I'm like an hour in and it is so interesting. He says some seriously interesting things but also goes on psychotic rants. You could spend a lifetime analyzing this.

Oh God. Why does Joe allow this shit? He's way too soft on Alex Jones insanity.

Theyre apparently good friends. Joe likes to have a variety of people on his show.

Just because you have a mentally ill friend doesn't mean you platform him to your viewers. It's irresponsible to platform such a person to millions of viewers as though it's all just in good fun.

It's like yeah, I'm good friends with Hitler, so let me give him my platform.

No, he does it because he's not conscious enough.

There's nothing wrong with taking things in to consideration, it's when we take things to heart... too often and too seriously we lose our precious time.

That's precisely the kind of attitude that a devil will exploit to his advantage.

You have to appreciate that a devil doesn't play fair. That's what makes him a devil. If you give him the benefit of the doubt, he will exploit it. Which is why once some proves himself to be a pathological liar, narcissist, or con artist you should never take him seriously again. The way a con artist works is precisely by conning you and then repenting and exploiting your soft heart to con you a second and third time.

Trump behave exactly in this matter. Which is why nothing that comes out of his mouth can ever be given the benefit of the doubt. Given his past history, everything that comes out of his mouth should be considered a lie unless proven otherwise. That is how you properly deal with a con artist. You don't trust him ever again.

In that case how do you deal with convicted felons? A loving approach is to forgive and give a second chance right? I like the way Norwegians handle serial killers giving them a chance for redemption and not vilifying them. If they lied before and you never trust them again surely they would just be locked up forever or even be given the death penalty.

Yeah, but we also rehabilitate them in prison. We give them free education, therapy etc. We don't just let them out and think the prison in itself changed their consciousness in a way. If we didn't go that extra mile to rehabilitate I think most of them would stay the same.

Also Anders Breivik (The one who shot those kids at a socialist camp/Utøya) probably won't get out like ever... He's treated very good in prison, and gets therapy. But I can't see our government letting him out because of how mentally ill he is.

...But what if the opposite is true?

In that case Joe could introduce him to his sensory deprivation tanks, smoke some DMT with him and then get him on his show rather than ostracising him.

I think there is an audience to take from alex ( for joe ) that's sort of a move ( and he already had the connection )

> a lot of an uneducated conspirationist are linked to alex. ( that can get weight )

> consider that joe has always been a conspirationist himself

> this is clearly a "fun show" nothing serious, just like the mma ones are not about "getting educated"

> getting the audience of alex can help even his audience to grow

And I would say "no", having Hitler & Gandhi on your show could be a feature of "open mindedness".

the devil authority cannot hold against truth, so we should never deny the devil, just show him with full spotlight, to show everyone the truth.

the truth has not to be deny or devilized, putting some light on some shady subjects.

if people LACK of critical thinking, that's the people problem, not the platform problems.

when you start to work for others, your work becomes no more yours. The Joe Rogan Experience, is the show of joe, I find that good that he doesn't just invite "special guest" and invite aswell what he likes.

What I hate about "art" is that people try to distort their work to please the mass, fuck the mass, litteraly. ( and I include me in the mass & my own opinion ).

I don't see art like a stream for the collective consciousness to drift and be pleased,

I see arts/creation like a catalyst for the uniqueness of an human being ( for me the most an artist is in HIS project, the more I respect )

creating crazy alarm to makes everyone fucking wake up.

The goal in art is not to improve directly society, it's to stimulate critical thinking. No matter how and how provocative you should be ( if that's your way )

I would want to see Trump on joe rogan. ( but he will never dare, cause he is too dumb to maintain 1 hour of talk without going batshit )

I feel like they agitate him on purpose for the lols. They have animated a clip from this episode even. It is really funny, but like... is it worth it compared to the damage it does? Idk

speculation, projection, statistics.

I want to know guys how many of you know the real impact of having this guy on his show, you all seams to be knowing, why joe didn't engage you to work on what will work with the show.

so far his formula worked.

Joe didn't choose to become mainstream, and so, he keeps doing his OWN recipe.

the day he start to sell his projects to the mass and makes it politicly correct or whatever, is the day I stop watching him.

@Leo Gura  I think it's okay to consider things, not this exact videos conversation in particular. Are you implying that you think i'm considering anything that Alex Jones says as truth? Or that I'm not taking it serious enough and that's my downfall?

From OP, "You could spend a lifetime analyzing this." To me it looks like we are overthinking about the guy who is overthinking and it appears to be one conversation now. Instead of an observation.

Time and place, that's my emphasis.

You gotta be careful because some of them are so screwed in the head he will rape your daughter and slit her throat while you a preparing him dinner.

Some people are just deeply fucked up to the point where you will not reform them.

Being nice doesn't always work.

You guys who follow me will largely be okay. But there a millions who listen to Joe Rogan without thinking carefully about epistemic issues and they can get brainwashed.

Alex Jones is basically a cult leader. He is dangerous.
