Yes, it has a curative effect on you.

With meditation there might be more feelings of sadness and more feelings of joy in your life. You will learn to let them flow through you <3

Awareness is also an emotion.

Would you like to heal your emotions?

For me. Absolutely. No question about it. Awareness, deconstruction and expression are healing agents ime. I would also add that sharing some of the process with another person can help healing. Those human connections can be powerful medicine.

Not necessarily. Shadow work is also important and it also depends how deep your emotional wounds are. If you had heavy trauma that will probably take a lot of dedicated work regardless of your meditation or mindfulness practice.

emotional bodymind healing is not a byproduct it is the fabric you weave by integrating different kinds of content threads recontextualizing your body/mind/spirit - if you run out of threads there is no integration of content.

so it’s about setting emotional content into different  context weaving in new colours. constantly producing different kinds of fabric. meditation is the frame, mindfulness the hand that chooses and integrates the thread.

@The White Belt The ego mind can never be healthy really. It's the inner witness that is the observer of the mind that is the healthy authentic self. That is a situation in which emotional healing can take place.

Sometimes bringing problems out to the light can be terrifying because you finally get the see them for what they really are and finally accept what you have to deal with.
