Programming The Subconscious Mind

44 posts in this topic

Hey guys,

I've come to the conclusion that by programming the subconscious mind anyone can become free from the old bad habits and rewrite it with all the positive desired traits. The problem is there are too many techniques and resources to do that. At this point I am confused and don't know where to start. I've read about all the techniques like affirmations and visualization and so on and I am looking for the best approach to practically actualized them.

Thanks for your insights.

Another trick is to draw what you want to manifest. For example, if you want more money, then draw a pot of a gold. Then draw a sack of cash the day after or a treasure chest of gold two days after, and so on and so forth.

@FK Try just picking one and doing it consistently. Since there are many popular techniques, I think different ones will work for different people. The extra time you spend researching which one is best when there is likely no clear answer will probably work against you.

The problem with positive affirmations is, people tend to put them on top of their previously adopted negative affirmations (limiting beliefs, limiting and wrong definitions, preconceptions etc.)

Let's first see, what the word "to affirm" means by dictionary definition:

Quote

affirm

1: to say that something is true in a confident way

2: to show a strong belief in or dedication to (something, such as an important idea)

http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/affirming

When you want to do positive affirmations (on habbits, attitudes or what ever it may be), you need to address the negative first and remove it.

There are good techniques to address those limiting beliefes.

Note: our toughts and beliefs are senior to our actions and habbits. When you screw up in your activities and want to change it, there is a limiting belief about your abilities, your identity or the role you play in that particular field.

Therefore, look what you want to change; find the limiting belief and make it fully known; now change it by visualising a more optimum scenario. Commit to this last thing. Formulate a positive affirmation if you still need to.

This may take some time, but the most important step is to really decide what it is that is not optimum, the thing you want to upgrade. And then find your limiting beliefs there. Often there are more then one. Sometimes you also may find people in this area making less of you or your abilities (sometimes they are long gone, but take all of it into consideration when you really want to upgrade your scenario.)

Just be aware that whatever you do the subconscious never work in negatives, if you "don't" want something you can't use words like Don't, Not, Can't etc because the subconscious will ignore that.

In other words "I don't desire a bunch of porn and don't care what people think of me" =will become=> "I Do desire a bunch of porn and I Do care what people think of me".

A far better way to go about it if you use repeating terms like that is to say something like "I reject porn and gather my manliness by evolving above that (just improvise lol) and I Stand on my own rising above the opinions of those around me!"

It's also important to already be at the finish line, never say "I WILL be good with girls", instead say "I AM Awesome with girls" or whatever you want to accomplish, and the more emotion you put in to it the better.

If you can use symbols rather than words or something that tie in to your childhood and is already established in your mind that's even more powerful but I'm not sure if I have any example of that yet, I'm currently trying to learn the same shit :)

Years ago I used what I call "positive programming statements." I would say things that I wanted in my thinking 25 times 5 times a day. I did this for as time, not sure how long, possibly a month. A while later I discovered my little book with the list of statements in it. What amazed me was that everything that was on my list had happened, including passing my drivers test.

I hear what someone was saying about getting rid of the negatives, but I'm not convinced it's a first - then thing, so much as program yourself, then deal with the negatives as they bubble up.

Now my issue, I have realised that I am rubbish with money. My work life had always just earned enough to pay the bills and a few modest treats. If I get a windfall, I suddenly have a list of things I just can't live without and blow it all! I have started programming myself with positive statements relating to money.  I like money, I like having money, I like earning money, I like getting money, I like making money, I am good with money.

I really like the idea of intrinsic motivation. Leo was the first person that has made me aware of this. I am hoping that by reprogramming my sub-conscience with a healthy and good attitude things will change. For years I have told people that I'm bohemian! But I would like to be able to earn and save in a way that I can have nicer things than I have now.

there is no subconscious mind, where does this idea come from, trying to reprogram and rewrite over your real problems is not the answer.  Why not simply figure out the basic issue and deal with that to attain as much liberation as you can in this lifetime.  Most of the chatter is coming from the fictitious identity and ego, this idea of reprograming and rewriting is coming from the same place.  Most are attempting to solve the problems from the part of themselves that can never solve the problems.  The only lasting solution for your problems is self realization, without drugs, without trying to cover up the programing with other programing.

Isle of View, start by sitting in silence, without attention nor attachment to anything and begin to feel the depth of your own consciousness that exist along with this physical body, be still, be silent, it may reveal something to you.

Your comment appears to be out of context, my friend. (Wonder how what I wrote corresponds to your suggestion.)

But thanks, appreciate.

You are right about the technique. I've done it for hundrets of hours. Literally.
Very liberating.

@Leo Gura but leo isn't the content in the life purpose course enough and the recommended books in the course and the core principles enough?  And your videos on affirmations and visualisations and the forum public journal and the forum itself and your weekly videos That we will need a whole different course?

@FK can you try for one year daily affirmations and visualisations and journalling?  This might be very powerful I've been slacking off a lot these days on all this but I'm starting tomorrow again have got a great app goals tracker check for something like that that makes you keep a journal of this stuff I think I know about all this but when I see massive results I will know for sure I'm starting tomorrow in a sense I've already started but going to be more disciplined and organised

Combine audio from one Leo's video that inspire you, with one of your favorite music/song/movie soundtrack (without lyrics).

This work well with visualisations speeches.

Music & emotions tends to enhance neurons plasticity.

Put the mp3 on your smartphone/player, listen to it every day before sleep.

Then, each time you'll listen to that particuliar song, with or without the speech, it will trigger your mood.

Try using this song as a morning alarm.

The 3 Leo's speeches that I have worked this way are :

- Understanding Awareness

- A Vision For The Self Actualized Life

- Life Purpose course "bad" & "good" habits

Also, you can use a bell sound to help focus and set a time for affirmations, contemplation & visualisation (basically, loop the file 3 times, so 15 minutes) :

Let's not forget about arguably the most powerful technique: hypnosis

I did this and had great results for 2 days and then I slacked off due to an unrelated depression.

Have tried it since but failed to reach the same deep levels consistently. I hope to learn more about this, and would appreciate it if anyone knew some course/books...

I also went to a certified hypnotherapist but she was a hack.

No! Not nearly enough.

The things you learn in the new course will totally revolutionize your life in ways you never imaged possible.

You will wonder how you ever lived without it ;)

The subconscious mind plays a very important role in affecting your behaviour, shaping your personality and your entire life. Many people don't have an idea how the subconscious mind works or what mechanisms govern its operation.

In order to understand how the subconscious mind works you should consider it the part of your mind that contains information that you are not consciously aware of.

For example, the main reason you fear public speaking might be an unconscious belief that you are unattractive and that people won't like your looks. While you won't be aware of that belief while talking in front of the public still it will affect your performance to a great extent.

Every time i see a topic about this subject i share this: http://www.subliminal-shop.com/

They are probably the most powerful subliminal audios in the world right now and they do work. There are even some free ones in case any of you want to try. This is my primary self-development tool.
