Rate of Change in Baseline

33 posts in this topic

What would you say your rate of change in baseline state / mode of existence has been recently?

Has it lately been higher than usual? Lower? Similar?

Would you say overall that you've experienced relatively a lot of change in baseline state in your adult life? Compared to others around you?

I feel like most people have a rather low ceiling for how much change in baseline mode of existence they will go through in their life. That's fine ofc. I note these thoughts especially when looking at older people. Who in the vast majority aren't too developed. (There are exceptions of course.)

- - - - -

I feel like my rate of change of baseline mode of existence has been incredibly high in the recent half a year, and especially the last two months. I feel like an exponential function. 😛 So many filters have fallen away. I feel like a flow. Everything is beautiful and funny very often. Things express themselves and they're all fine.

To truly love something is to grant that thing freedom. It is to hold it in an open, outstretched palm of your hand without clenching over it.

That's such a strange response. I have no comments.

Sorry, I couldn't help myself. 🤭

I'd appreciate honest input in this thread. I'm genuinely interested.

What will you do with it?

@Sincerity What quality do you notice that you consider an increase in your baseline?

I encourage you answer the question according to your own interpretation of what an increase in baseline is. 9_9 I don't necessarily want to impose my definitions.

But to answer your question: I'd say submergence in conscious flow; A sort of creation of more distance from what's happening (predominantly thoughts) - not being absorbed/hypnotized/identified, and yet living seamlessly - a kind of absorption in what's actually true. Filters being dissolved - in practice, this relates to the previous points: living ever more seamlessly, and some absorptions/spells being permanently let go of - which results in greater freedom. Increase in baseline. Thoughts/feelings/whatever still arise, but it's all more frictionless. Life takes care of itself more. You see better what's actually happening. You see Truth better - and live it.

I guess in one word, the quality is: consciousness. Above is a spontaneous, incomplete elaboration.

How is this post just me acting out my ego in the usual ways? Is this post just me venting and justifying my selfishness? Are the things you are posting in alignment with principles of higher consciousness and higher stages of ego development? Are you acting in a mature or immature way? Are you being selfish or selfless in your communication? Are you acting like a monkey or like a God-like being?

Mind control is #1 priority on increasing baseline levels of consciousness.

Read "Ending Unnecessary Suffering" by Ralston. What is more important is what you NOT create on your personal experience as a human being. We as a society tend to create a lot of crap/false beliefs about being a human.

You start on stop creating crap. Then, you can think about creating intelligence, empowerment, effective interaction, principles.

That was a funny scene from Jurassic Park. The guy in the hat has taking everything way too seriously and the other guy (like yourself) just laughed it off.

Did you move to a new house 6 months ago?

Did you change your mattress?

Did someone you lived with leave and your one less person in the space?

Did you stop using Cologne or perfumes or incents or candles?

Guys, I appreciate your responses, but none of you have answered the question. 😆 Do I have to beg you? I’m on my knees, please! Hahahaha.

I provided my own response because 1) I think it’s kinda stupid to pose a question you don’t answer yourself and 2) to give an example of an answer, so that you have an idea of how to respond. You don’t need to dig into my story - I’m interested in yours. 🙂‍↕️

This is me of late.....

Alexa's response to your "Definition of Second Childhood" request

Second childhood usually means the dotage stage when an older person's mind weakens and they start acting like a child again. It can also refer to an adult rediscovering childlike joy in hobbies or life.

I have been finding joy in building model rockets and flying them with my 7 y.o. grandson lately. Doing funny stuff too like the baby's arm trick. We laugh our asses off at something so silly.
