(Personal) Problems with culture change in Europe due to immigration

You said it very well.

That's their goal.

The Globalists.

This is exactly what they're striving for.

A one world government.

Don’t mistake my words dude, I’m not some right-wing conspiracy nut. There’s no secret cabal of Jews plotting to destroy the white race or whatever. What’s going on is the result of unconscious and structural economic forces, not any conscious political effort.

I just think the lack of willingness to criticise the problems with ethnic enclaves, zero loyalty to your adopted country etc is a huge blindspot for the left that needs to be addressed. I can individually care about Muslim people and not want them discriminated against whilst understanding the huge cultural gaps between blue-tier Middle Eastern countries and Orange/Green-tier Western countries. More needs to be done to encourage integration and cultural cohesion rather than this haphazard bullshit we’re seeing now (and leading to general social malaise, distrust etc.)

I know you weren't pointing to that.

I did.

Your words were just perfect for it though.

I cant imagine moving to a new country with the goal of becoming a citizen and not making at least some effort to integrate into the wider community/culture. If I moved to Japan for instance I would strive to learn Japanese, follow Japanese social rules, etc.

The fact that so many of the political elite seem to be OK with ethnic enclaves forming is just baffling to me. If someone can move to Holland, without speaking Dutch, not taking on Dutch customs, yet still be considered “completely Dutch”, doesn’t that mean being “Dutch” means nothing at all? That “countries” are just arbitrarily landed areas with no common feeling, language, ideas, etc?

I support immigration. I even think the ethnic part of anti-immigration debates is just low-tier racism (an Asian- or Mexican-American is fully American to me, despite not being part of the white majority for instance), but there needs to be SOME expectation to create a common identity. Otherwise why even have countries? Why even have identities? Let’s just destroy everything and live on some “global corporate zone,” right? 🙄

Nations are definitely more than governed areas. But modern countries are moving away from it towards non-ethnic states, which btw the USA was founded as, if I remember correctly.

Maybe an analogy: Imagine working in a company, where parts of your office speak other languages, they flock together and make secret arrangements, some steal from the coffee kitchen, inventory, etc, and the company policy is that it is ok, as long as enough money is being made this year.

Honestly, I think that governments in Europe welcome immigrants, because they need them to make up for the low birth rates, for demographic decline. You need people to work the minimum wage, dirty and blue collar jobs.
Maybe that is the neoliberal rational for opening up to mass-immigration, to keep the economy floating.

@Ima Freeman

I am the child of Immigrants living in Germany and have experienced enormous racism in my childhood with extreme exclusion, only due to the migration waves that I can live a more normal life because my skincolour is represented more demographically.. and I was excluded exactly because of these unnecessary hatred towards foreigners that you potray here

You say: It went kinda well until I came up to a group of boys (12-16 years old I guess). They clearly had migration background, and my appreciation recoiled. I could not love them.

So these Kids don't do anything to you and you couldnt spread your love to them as was your Intention by doing that walk?

Then you post two pictures of children or Teenagers being happy and celebrating their happiness and potray it as a threat?

Sounds like you hate Immigrants just because of being Immigrants.

Do you know why Syrians and Iraqis came to euppre as refugees? In the case of the Iraq war you hopefully remember the atrocities done by the USA to Iraq and Syria don't be a hypocrite, who was the Biggest financeirs of Putin and Russian military and weaponry so that they could put Syria to ashes?

Before the Ucraine war Germany and other European countries were the Main business Partners of Putin and financed the Civil war, but when the Ucraine gets Attacked suddenly Putin is a war criminal.

Maybe it's better to rethink were all the wealth in Europe comes from and that your ancestors destroyed  the planet twice and enslaved an entire Continent to Exploit their resources so that you people can live with enormous wealth.

@Ima Freeman

Europe is the main complicit in the Genocide against the Palestinians and the destruction of Syria by Putin.

i cant imagine a more horrible scenario than watcjing your parents or children being burnt alive in your own home by american and european bombs and weapons that were financed through russian oil and Gas trades with the European Union or through direct sales to Israel.

Some children and Teenagers walking down the Street and being happy and Brown doesn't even compare to that

Well it's a new era of Internet and social Media and AI.

If you were in a poor country or in a country destroyed by war that was financed by Europeans and Americans and would watch on Instagram that on the other side of the shore people are living in abundance and happiness, obviously you would do the same.

The technologcal progress is so fast that Immigration and globalization Are Happening at the same speed.

One century ago you wouldn't have those possibilities and would think that your extreme poverty and your war are just normal conditions and it wont get better.

There is currently no halt to that and it even gets worse through cilimate change where most tropical and subtropical countries will become unlivable due to extreme Temperaturs. Get ready for an unprecedented migration wave due to the climate change

If you already have unbearable 40 degrees for two weeks in Germany, what do you think how it's gonna be in African countries ten years from now?

And who is the Main responsible for the extreme environmental pollution? Obviously the industralized countries of Europe and the USA  and China. If you have enormous disproportionality on a global scale with huge wealth and abundance in some parts and poverty and struggle in other parts that's the consequence of it. Not even considering the consrquence of slavery and Colonization that goes on until today

@Schahin Unfortunately instead of being grateful for living in Europe instead of your parents country, you seem resentful and angry. I’m not sure how old you are but you should stop contaminate your brain with social media

There's truth to that. And I see that my judgement is superficial.

I don't have the same reaction if I see, or better hear, Ukrainian immigrants.
They are morally further developed.

Sadly, I have seen quite some trouble with people coming from the south (gangs, violence, vandalism, littering, rape, unwillingness to integrate)
You gotta admit that there a huge problems with that.

@Ima Freeman The truth is you don't know how this will impact your country. You assume is a net negative.

There has to be an equal effort of integration attempt by both sides. For immigration to be a good thing. If you can't grasp that you're certainly brainwashed!!!

That is a serious challenge though. Like strucking a perfect balance.

When you walk on the street and hate those immigrants, you're literaly not wanting to integrate them. You should get to the conclusion of them being unable to integrate after you try first.

Mhm, I agree mostly.
My personal attitude is mostly stage green, which dislikes violence and macho behavior. And I see this mostly in certain groups of people.
I'm not a nationalist at all. I don't give a damn about flags, the nation and customs. But cultural progress is something I don't want to see degrading.

I feel like Europe already is over-capacity and shouldn't take many more migrants. There should be efforts to assimilate already naturalized migrants and  hardly hand out any new passports, as well as sending people with expired asylums back, if their country is stable.

On the political part:
How to regulate, if you see that certain groups of immigrants cause disproportionate damage to a society?
What to do with criminal asylum seekers from failed state countries?

Europe is super densely poblated, and since it's very developed everyone wants to live there like sperm going to the ovum. So maybe that's an argument.

But in your questions you're already assuming they're causing disproportionate damage. Do you actually know that? Maybe most immigrants are occupying the dirty jobs positions no one wants to do?

Because your questions are simple to answer if you already understand the problem. But you kinda have to be responsible before using power.

And with the cultural thing you fear, I mean culture is an illusion. To a newborn of that developed european nation, they wont distinguish a muslim trait as muslim, they view it as their country.

For example, I get the sense (I could be wrong) that the reason Poland had to close their borders is because they aren't as developed as some of their neighbors, or they are more poor so their firm isolation was a critical decision.
