Democrats will now control a majority of both governorships and state legislative chambers following the 2026 midterms. And that is historically significant, especially considering Republicans' dominance of state governments since the 2010 Tea Party wave!

Democratic Governorships: 28–30 of 50 

That means that there will be Democratic governors in 56–60% of all states in the country

Democratic Controlled State Legislative Chambers: 50–51 of 99

51 of 99 will be Democratic-controlled

Just over half of chambers

This will be the first time Democrats have controlled a majority of state legislative chambers since before the 2010 elections!

I often think of the masses as sheep being taken advantage of by wolves. The wolves are usually a few steps ahead of the sheep. But now, the sheep have caught up and the wolves have to go into hiding and plot their next moves. It's a cycle.

Schumer and Jeffries are compromised by corporate Pac money and aipac money, Jeffries met with jared kushner in a backdoor meeting, caved on the government shutdown earlier this year, and both have lower approval ratings than trump. at the very least they should not be installed into power. there should be a new vote and deliberation, i dont know the process actually but i dont like how the centrists are coalescing behind them without any pushback they have been proven to be ineffective in their jobs thats why they are hated, schumer endorsed two candidates in these midterms janet mills who got owned by platner the rapist and haley stevens who betrayed the party.
