If you aren't following your passions, you're looking for a quick fix to your money problems. Generally speaking quick fixes don't work. In any area of life: fitness, dating, spirituality, career.
All of these areas require self mastery, which takes years and more. No shortcut is going to give you a lasting solution.

Guys i've been reflecting on why am i here in this life. And i've come up with some juicy insights.
‎Here we go:
‎God incarnates as a human living a human life to experience love. The logic is as follows: God is infinity, since God is infinity, God has no bound, no beginning and no end, and therefore God's whole mission is infinite self exploration. As part of this self exploration God places in every human an intrinsic fascination, passion and love for something. This passion is purely inexplicable, yet at the same time undeniable. Therefore our mission in life is to find that, and explore it. It's a process of self discovery and exploration as God is love, hence whatever the human falls in love with whatever facet of reality, domain or field. In reality, it is God falling in love with itself, since there's nothing else in existence but God, since God is a total concept.
‎For me this passion, this fascet is rap music, i'm experiencing God's love through embodying my passion and living it out to the whole world. I pray you find your own passion, and dedicate yourself to it with mind and heart. God bless everyone.

I don't have time to watch that right now.

There are many degrees of wisdom.

Sure, you have some degree of it. That's why you are here.

You are trying to understand radical points of view, steelmanning them, which is a high form of wisdom.

I tend to feel the way about spiritual teachers as you do with religion and science.  This is just something I notice.

Bashar is great. Love his messages and kindness even if it’s a bit looney.

"follow your passion" assumes the market pays for what you love. It doesn't. It pays for what's scarce and needed.

Lol this is actually obvious. Whoever came up with the follow your passion idea is actually retarded Lol

"Follow your passion" does not mean abort any sense of responsibility and become a NEET. You can interpret any kind of advice in a black and white way and it will come shoot you in the ass just the same way.

Intrinsic joy = being x meaning ²

Cal Newport's ideas can go on top of "follow your passion". When you follow your passion, you will do the thing so much that you will master it can you will have 2x the effect. You will have passion + mastery. But it's actually passion x mastery, giving you 4x the result!

But it goes even deeper than that once you add spiritual connection to God.

Passion x mastery x God = the highest possible outcome.

Your work should be God acting through you, until you and God become identical.

The problem is this is not teached. People lack spiritual education. Even general education.

You need that first before following your passion is even a thing. The people that don't understand what following your passion means need first to experience a lot more of the world.

I am the impossible made reality.

That's not correct.

I have been following my passion since I was a teen. I was following my passion long before I knew anything about spirituality. My material passions led me to God.

Do not wait for Awakening to follow your passion.
