Losing faith in the system

20 posts in this topic

My beliefs are very "new age"-like. You know like the kind of spiritual teachings you would get from a channeler, medium, etc. And I'm starting to lose faith in the system of incarnation and human experience, all the suffering that humanity goes through, all so that our higher selves can evolve and eventually ascend and eventually unify with god, which also makes god evolve, that's the theory.

I'm starting to think that it's not worth it, and not okay to put humans through this, because even though we are god in a sense, we are still trapped in this place, doomed to suffer. Our higher selves and spirit guides will put us through anything, it's like even though they love us we don't get anything from that love, they just use us.

You know how there are 3 factions on the other side and in the higher dimensions? The middle path faction, which is what our higher selves all belong to. The dark faction. And the light faction. I'm starting to feel like I'm aligned with the light faction now, instead of the middle path.

Point out my delusions and set me on the right path again. Tell me what my spirit guides will tell me when I meet them on the other side.

You are not separate from any sort of higher beings.

Yea but they are still doing that to us. Like how in society we need to have laws and things, because we don't act like we are all one. So I can still be against the system.

What is your spirit animal

Non ci sarebbe lòta o dolaur sanza sé separato,  "There'd be no struggle or pain without the separate self" — Predilection to get us on andèda, a trip to the greater, u(oo)ch path, a finalé ... of a liberating sense and source.

Could be useful to explore some teachings that look more at your direct experience.

Rupert Spira for example might be a nice change from new age teachings.

@Seraphim

This is the existence. Some called it Kali.

Or maybe you would prefer this other modern hot version

IMG_20260926_185141.jpg

In both cases, the existence is the eternal cycle of creation and destruction, and it's depth is total. There is not restriction for creation, neither for destruction. There is only the dance of Kali. Kali steps on Shiva, in the pure absolute being, because they are married, they are one. Shiva can't avoid manifesting as Kali, Kali can't avoid it's absolute pure unlimited nature of what doesn't change.

Reality is like a flame, like an infinite atomic bomb that explodes and creates without limit of restriction, but everything that is created, has to be destroyed. From destruction another creation arises, and Kali dances over shiva, being both one.

Yes, but you're basically saying "it is what it is", that doesn't change my stance. Why does Kali and Shiva exist? Because god wanted to evolve, they are part of the plan, or maybe you see Shiva as the absolute, either way, I'm saying that creating all these forms and starting the creation was a mistake. Or at least they should put a restriction so that they don't create realms like our earth with all the suffering.

Yea Rupert is great and I agree with his teachings mostly. But that won't change my opinion on the system. A communist probably wouldn't stop being a communist just because they studied Rupert's teachings right? Because it's a separate issue. My new age beliefs aren't the issue, the issue is reality and the system.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean by "the issue is reality and the system" ?

Have you watched this video by Leo ? (This is what I meant by direct experience.)

How could God evolve if it's infinite? God doesn't want nothing, shiva is a metaphor the absolute immutable fact of being and Kali for the inevitable manifestation of that fact in cycles of creation and destruction.

In the new age teachings, god originally didn't create anything, it just existed within itself. But then came a desire to know something more than itself, to forget who it is and then find itself again. Which led to creation. If we humans become enlightened, we create a new type of consciousness known as the christ consciousness, it can only be born in an environment like earth, where there's darkness and light and where people have forgotten that they are god.

I mean that even if I get rid of the I-thought and experience samadhi for the rest of my life, I would still be against the system and start working against it when I get to the other side, unless someone can present some counter arguments.

I haven't watched it, but I've done non-duality meditations before, like Rupert's, so I think I get the concept.

I'm not, I'm actually on the path to be a perfect agent for the middle path, since that's the only way I know to minimize my suffering. But when I get to the other side and my spirit guides lose their control over me, I can join the light faction.

I might try it in a few days, but if I want to meditate I could just do so on my own, I often feel bliss when meditating.

How are spirit guides controlling you ?

Of course you can meditate on your own.

But that guided exercise video of Leo will really ground you in direct experience if you go with it.

Fine, I'll try it some day. They control me by punishing me when I'm not following their plan, they basically force me to walk the path that they have decided for me, it is a co-creation so I do have some power, but not enough. They dislike it when a person is too passive, misses opportunities in life, has fears that they don't face and clear, has other distortions they're not clearing, etc. And some people are playing life on a high difficulty, their spirit guides expect greater things from them, and has harsher consequences for failing to follow their path.

People will have faith in anything.  Except themselves.

A good hero's journey to salvation and redemption story usually has lots of suffering and loss so the savior has what it takes to do the savior'ing when its time and makes the whole ride worth it.  The more repression, the more immersion, the more epic your quest, the greater your insights and rewards, the better the story.

Should I have more faith in myself?

Yes that is kind of how our higher selves see it. They are strengthening us through hardships. It would be a shame if someone forced our middle path bastard higher selves to enter such hardships, where they have to face despair and the risk of total annihilation. But we won't take it that far. Reason and compassion will defeat their extremism.

It's harsh for everyone, we're in the same boat. Though I'm sure you're enjoying your non-duality intellectual limbo period where you think that everything is simple and that you can handle anything because you're not identifying with the body. The problem is that you can't fool your spirit guides, if you're not pure enough and your body is restless, they're going to scheme against you. Only if you're absorbed, peaceful, pure, will they allow you to have a permanent honeymoon period. Am I wrong?
