Tears is so open world, what are you talking about.

Do a play through of it on your blog!  Genuinely very interested to hear your insights into game development (especially cause I'm in the middle of making one), also get that Morrowind let's play done that you implied you were gonna do, I've not let go of that one haha.

P.S. I still cannot wrap my head around the fact that I played your Lost Spires mod before stumbling upon your content, but saying that, knowing how the Universe works now, it actually makes perfect sense lol

To me, solving a Zelda shrine puzzle is not fun, it is annoying. It is a chore. Every time I enter a Zelda shrine, I hate the game. If Zelda has zero shrines, it would be a better game for me.

Absolutely agree. Breath of the Wild had some decent one's but Tears of the Kingdom's killed the pacing of that game whenever I had to do one. I just looked it up cause I gained no satisfaction from doing most of them in the last one lol.

If Nintendo continues the open world format for future mainline titles, I would like to see shrines completely fucked off in favour of a few oldskool-style, but massive complex dungeons, with new and interesting mechanics and radically better combat. The exploration and creative elements in ToTK should stay though imo, that's what makes that game so experimental and replayable.

You know what? Maybe it would be fun to play just for the nostalgia of it. I do have fond memories of playing Ocarina.

If it works on emulator I might play it.

same overall, I m not gonna get a switch 2 for just this game.

I imagine he means an emulator for the remake on Switch 2. Dunno how stable they are atm.

I just edited, and fixed my answer because yeh it felt weird as a question ( I just woke up )

for BOTW that's the only switch game I ever played with CEMU, so we will see.

Could just be next year, but with AI, people might be able to code  them faster aswell ( emulators )

That's a cool idea.

I need to research how game screen recording works. I don't have a set-up for that. I don't have a streamer set-up.

That is a mindfuck.

I played Tears on the Yuzu Switch emulator. It just works.

If you have an NVIDIA graphics card, the app has this feature called shadowplay which allows you to record in whatever quality you want and it's UI is very user friendly. I use it to record all of my bits.

I do. But I need some kind of webcam that records my face too and places it in the corner. I also need some kind of a small convenient microphone, and then some kind of lighting. It's a whole can of worms.

Okay guys, despite all my spit, I’ll try TotK, you hyped me.

Gotta stay up to date. Even bad games will teach me more about game design; what’s bad and why. I really want to understand why things sucks as well.

I’m really the anti-vehicle-in-games type, though. Even in WoW and MMOs, I think this SUCKS.

I like trains and the like, but when you introduce vehicles, you kill the distances in your game and the feeling of depth, horizontal progression feel overkilled.

Vehicles in Zelda don't break anything unless you invest way too much time building them. I played mostly without building too much and nothing was broken by it. Building vehicles is kinda annoying after a while so you can just avoid it and do other things. Mostly what you build is simplistic gilders, but they have limited range and battery life.

It is fun to build gliders to explore the sky islands.

Tears is a revolutionary game if you never played Breath Of The Wild. It will feel very fresh. It is unlike any previous Zelda game. That is why I liked it. Nintendo actually made something new.
