How many of y'all have people in real life who is familiar with Leo's content or have visited this forum?
I'm just curious.

  • The other Yimpa HATES Leo 😅 Used to be active on the forum, but no more.

  • Mom is curious about Leo’s work and what he means by “I am God.”. She doesn’t willingly study Leo’s work other than what I communicate to her and some of the clips and blog posts I share. She is a conservative catholic, Stage Green, so she is huge fan of Father Richard Rohr and consumes his content as passionately as I consume Actualized.

edit:

  • Oh… I forgot to mention one of my therapists. I introduced them to Actualized a year ago. They’re also into Ken Wilber and spiral dynamics. Idk if they lurk the forum at all or watch the Actualized stuff. That’s something I’d rather leave up to mystery.

None of the people in my life know about Actualized.org. I think the biggest reasons why I don't send videos is because they are pretty lengthy and most people in my real life aren't super into videos that are an hour plus long . The people in my real life have read the writing I have posted on this forum but haven't gone into the forum itself. I'm kind of worried about what they might think of the forum given some of the more misogynistic / incel adjacent stuff on here. I do interject various concepts I have learned here into conversations and I feel like that has been a more seamless way to talk about these topics to where people are more receptive.

Ugh… ikr? I cringe when I come into contact with that. I’ve had to learn how to filter that stuff out and no longer pretend it is OK. I used to act as if it didn’t effect before I transitioned, but now that I’m out, I am learning to say NO to that shit and not entertain it. It’s still a work in progress for me. Shoutout to @Natasha Tori Maru especially for being a great role model, her example taught me not to tolerate that kind of shit and to set boundaries, full stop.

@Yimpa thanks Yimpa - you're an inspiration to me as well. It takes a deep amount of personal integrity, courage and authenticity to stand up and say "this is who I am!" And risk rejection.

Most people have shaky boundaries because you risk someone rejecting you. And they wont risk being alone. But the cost is having to live outside our truth

So important to know what we will accept and what we won't ❤️

It is far easier to fool someone, than to convince them they have been fooled.
