Israel's Election Campaign: An Ongoing Look at All Candidates in Their Own Words

This thread's goal is to show the election campaign Israel has entered into this month. I am going to show the dynamics here in a new way, which is even more transparent and direct than before.
 
The main emphasis here will be party leaders' daily declarations, the secondary emphasis will be key journalists and Knesset members.
 
I don't want you to suffice with tweets I add here but also to enter the links I will add to every message, read further about the candidates's tweets, and follow twitter's suggestion for you on more politicians from the same political camp.
 
The camps will be represented as evenly as possible and polls will be shown on a weekly basis.

All tweets I will add here are originally in Hebrew and aimed to Israeli ears, therefore they reflect a purely internal discussion.

@Heaven  I get you. We can't control who wants to understand and who doesn't. We can just show things as they are as much as possible and let people think for themselves.

This only makes sense because Hadash is literally a Communist movement, and Ta'al is secular, whereas ra'am a socially conservative Islamist movement. So of course they're not going to get along.

Personally, I cannot talk much about Israel itself because I do not live there

My concern is mostly about the whole Palestine topic and how Israel conducts itself when it comes to Israeli politics

On that topic, only Yair seems to be reasonable and actually care about international law

The rest seem from bad to horrible

Note: I am talking in terms of Jewish parties, not the Arab one you sent which obviously will be more sympathetic to Palestinians

The tactics that Hamas used in Gaza are demonic. Hiding in schools, kindergartens and hospitals. It’s a tough combat ground. The problem with anti semitism is not trying to understand Israel/IDF.

I do hope a new government will rise but only because of religious people in our country taking advantage of the current government.

No, Hamas tactics weren’t different than the average guerrilla milita.

There isn’t evidence they hid in hospitals and schools, israel just targeted them as part of their genocide.

This is why israel hired civilian contractors to bulldoze residential buildings, they didn’t think they were a threat so they let civilians do it, but they wanted to destroy the civilian areas.

For example here they claimed to strike a hospital due to Hamas, later admitting it was just a camera, but that was proven to be a lie. They actually struck 3 times to kill journalists and rescue workers who arrived and provided no evidence any were “combatants”.

 

 

The problem was the IDF was using genocidal tactics, such as blocking aid from entering causing starvation.

For example an Israeli television show interviewed a idf who killed the three hostages who escaped and got murdered and they admitted their orders were to kill every man and they were allowed to kill any women and child.

This explains visual evidence and admission of IDF who repeatedly admitted to targeting civilians. 

The problem isn’t antisemitism or not understanding, the problem is people understand how the IDF are genocidal and Israelis support this because they are a genocidal society.

 

 

Even the former hostage chief admitted over 40 of the hostages that got killed died for nothing because israel ended up accepting an identical ceasefire deal to what they rejected a year prior, so people like you who defended the war exposed the truth, they sacrificed their own people to kill more Palestinian civilians.
