The Tension Before the Approach

He does teach inner game.

He never says social circle doesn't work. Briefly teaches it too.

He talks about social proof.

He has about 10,000 videos on escalation, which include physical and sexual escalation a lot.

I have two of Todd's programs so I know his work very well.

Not really. His inner game philosophy is just a couple phrases and then he just criticizes other inner game teachings and suggests you focus on outer game.

He criticized social circle harshly in winnergame and hasn’t made any content on it aside from a couple mentions.

Rarely does he talk about social proof, you never see him discuss actively using preselection or merging sets

He himself said he doesn’t talk about late escalation or physical escalation much.

@LordFall To my recollection, he says to drop the more overtly gamey stuff, and just be a cool high-value guy. i.e. high value stories, speaking in terms of i love and hate, being a leader in the social group.

So, you can get a good reputation with the girls in the group and your value grows naturally from there.

I have practiced Todd’s game before. It works wonders if you actually have the inner game and social charisma down. It is just manipulative and fake as hell — the opposite of being genuinely you.

If you don’t have the inner side down, his game makes you a nerd. Overly stuck in your head and even more rigid than before.

@Ulax What are your concrete results, when practicing Todd’s game?

@Ulax That is why I think Owen´s game is better because the main focus is on the most important problem, that you are in your head and stifled instead of loose and in flow and in state. As 10% of communication are words and 90% is subcommunication.

Owen is good for first steps but Todd is the way to advanced

@Ulax Actually I would say the opposite, Todd might be the way to understand more about attraction that you can have in the back of your mind and Owen makes you transcend that paradigm where words or what you say not mattering that much. I have seen guys pull girls in the most illogical ways ever, like by singing a song or whatever, just acting from flow and fun and being in state, not from logic and strategy.

You have to diversify your teaching sources.

Todd V is AMAZING when it comes to frame control, verbal game and understanding the dynamics that are at play in pickup. A lot of my approach and insights in game came from building on the psychologic foundations that I learned from him.

However, as someone who also has a lot of Todd's programs and has studied a lot of his material, he does leave a lot on the table when it comes to teaching.

I've never seen him merge sets or proactively use preselection and jealousy plotlines in a bar or club -- both of which are super powerful to implement.

People like Julien, Max, Derek and Owen, while not being as technical in their game as Todd, do teach a more holistic approach to the game beyond just frame control madness and push pull mindfuckery.

One way to get a girl to chase is to withhold validation and blast her with a strong whirlwind of positive and negative emotions, but another way is to just be a very social, fun, outgoing guy who is talking to everyone and whose attention is valuable within the environment. If you establish the latter, girls start coming on to you and it is a lot more reliable of an approach than the push pull method.

I've seen a clip of Julien merging sets during the DAY, which was unheard of to me at the time and blew my mind that I never even thought to do that (still havent to be honest).

But then again, Julien's verbal game is hard imitate and replicate because its too polarizing and intertwined with who he is as a person.

You can learn from all kinds of teachers, but it is foolish to be loyal to one.

I've learned from:

Alpha Male Strategies

Todd V

Alex Social

Bradicus

Max

Julien

Owen

Jeffy

Playing with Fire

Ultimate Man Project

Even fucking Jmulv.

Take what works from each one and discard the rest.

@Zenterus I think the best is to go to free tours of these teachers especially in your city/country. I just created a group of already of 21 people in my country from the free tour, aswell as you can learn allot from watching others do game and the state building is insane on a free tour as everyone is getting into flow. It is crazy.
