Makes no sense to me why.

And it is still growing.

I couldn't find any external Instagram links (or cross pposts) to the clip on a general website trawl - but after looking chatGPT came up with the below:

My guess: It has more comments, more shares and most importantly more saves, more than average. why? probably because it's a broad and fundamental topic that anyone with small or big interest in intellectual stuff would be curious about. it is also a huge claim that needs contemplation, which might explain 800+ saves.
and because of the captions having clear niche keywords (epistemology and ontology) that help the algorithm know which audience to show it to.

1. Perhaps it’s a topic that your base following finds more interesting, which boosts its initial metrics. Perhaps they found it more interesting because it’s a topic you haven’t discussed ever on IG, or in a long time (basically fresh content).

And / or

2. IG algo is starting to get a better sense of what’s ur channel about, so just by random happenstance, it pushed it, and perhaps will keep doing the same for some posts.

The more drama your reel has, the better as watchtime, engagements, sharing, saves will boost the post. Also obviously the first few seconds are key.

When it comes to the algo, oftentimes it’s the videos you expect to perform the least, that gets pushed. Especially when it comes to more raw talking head videos.

Happens with my art too, the less ones I like people seem to like it a lot. The algorithm can be unpredictable.

Because you are hitting on fundamentals like ontology and epistemology. Usually you talk about some weird niche thing. While most people just want to get the fundamentals down of philosophy, and thinking in general.
